In recognition of our International President Environment Week of Service, the club made a presentation at The Pentacostal ECDC Basic School located on Hanover Street in Spanish Town. The items presented included a plastic drum for the collection of recycling bottles as well as June Plum Tree and two Sensevieria plants for the indoor.
Sansevieria (now classified as Dracaena trifasciata), commonly known as snake plant or mother-in-law's tongue, is a hardy, upright succulent known for its adaptability, air-purifying qualities, and extremely low-maintenance care. Thriving in bright indirect light to low-light conditions, these plants require infrequent watering—only when the soil is completely dry—and are ideal for beginners.
Present were Lion President Franco, Secretary Lion Robert, Vice Presidents Pearline and Lindon. The items were well received by the school.
