Although our team haven’t had the best outcome at the Glasgow 2026, the effort was 1000% as always. It was an honour to see Lauren carrying the flag at the closing ceremony representing not only the judo team but the whole nation.

Steven Moore Edward Semple Lauren 🇯🇲 is proud of you! 👏 Thank you for your commitment, dedication and outmost professionalism throughout the event.

A proud moment for Jamaica Judo at the 20th Bolivarian Games in Ayacucho–Lima, Peru 🇯🇲🥋🇵🇪

Ricardo Dawkins (-66kg) and Christopher Johnson (-60kg) stepped onto the tatami and delivered spirited, determined performances, finishing 5th in their respective divisions. While it wasn’t the result they hoped for, both athletes truly embodied the spirit of judo, resilience, and Olympism, fighting with heart, courage, and pride.

We’re incredibly proud of their efforts and the way they represented Jamaica. The journey continues, and we look forward to seeing them back on the tatami very soon.

Special thanks to the for making this opportunity possible and supporting our athletes on this international stage. 🇯🇲💛🖤💚
