Nobody wants Phoenix… and I genuinely don’t understand why.

Seven puppies. Only one survived.

That one was Phoenix.

I rescued her at 4 weeks old and promised her she would never have to fight alone again.

She’s now 7 months old and somehow, despite months of posting, she has never received a single inquiry.

Meanwhile she has quietly become one of the easiest dogs here.

Small (under 20 lbs just like her mama), spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, crate trained at night.
Loves kids.
Good with cats.
Excellent with other dogs.

Her biggest personality flaw?

She’s a tiny treasure goblin.

Phoenix collects “important” objects, then buries them with her nose and walks around with a little dirt stripe across the top of it. Then the other dogs come uncover her hidden treasures.

She has spent her whole puppyhood watching dogs leave while she stays behind. I know her family is out there somewhere.

She doesn’t need perfect.
She just needs someone to finally choose her.

Located in Jamaica.

🐾 SWEETIE IS LOOKING FOR A SPAY SPONSOR 🐾

Sweetie has an owner who is doing his absolute best to care for her, but covering the cost of her spay just isn’t financially possible right now.

When we first approached him about spaying, he was hesitant and nervous about surgery and recovery. We shared information, answered questions, and gave him time to think. Thankfully, he reached back out and made a difficult but responsible decision — he wants to go ahead.

Sweetie has already had several litters, and heartbreakingly, many of her puppies have been lost after being hit by cars along the main road. Her owner understands the reality of overpopulation here and does not want to continue adding more puppies into an already difficult situation.

When he gave us the green light, we moved quickly and picked her up before we had secured sponsorship because opportunities like this can’t always wait.

Today is Sweetie’s surgery day, and she is looking for a sponsor to help cover her spay.

SEVEN puppies dumped in broad daylight at a local park.

Six girls, one little boy, all far too young to be away from their mom and horribly infested with fleas.

Because we had absolutely nowhere to take them, they spent the night alone at the park. We fed them, tucked them safely under a roof, said a little prayer, and hoped they’d still be there in the morning.

After making urgent calls, we were able to secure a temporary foster home and get them to safety.

They’ve now been treated for fleas, they’ll be dewormed, and for now… they are safe. 🩶

But temporary is exactly that, temporary.

We urgently need:
🐾 Another foster home
🐾 Adoption interest
🐾 Donations toward food and care

- A mom & pup who need spay sponsors so they can move into their new home this weekend
- Medical treatment for a tiny orphan puppy with a maggot wound to the head we picked up this morning

URGENT - Lexi is approximately 2 yr old spayed female. Friendly, easy going sweet dog looking for a forever or foster home. She is living on a compound with a few others that are being threatened to be poisoned if not moved immediately. If you are able to foster or adopt this sweet girl please let me know.

Aura ✨

You guys know Aura, she’s been making regular appearances in our stories most evenings. She finally sat still long enough for some proper photos.

When Aura first came to us, she was absolutely terrified, covered in open wounds, badly infested with mange, and not interested in making friends. Understandably.

Now look at her.

She’s starting to grow her fur back, especially on that fuzzy little head of hers, and slowly but surely it’s coming in everywhere else too. She may not be our beauty queen just yet, but she is getting there… and her personality is really starting to shine through.

Aura still isn’t available for adoption. She’ll eventually be heading to the US for surgery to repair an old injury to her front leg.

For now, she’s focusing on healing, growing, and learning how good life can be.

And honestly… she’s doing an incredible job 💛

More kittens!! Calling on all of my followers to please share!! For some reason Portland is not the place to find homes for kittens! We rescue them when we come across them but have no luck finding them forever homes. We now have 7 sweet babies in need of amazing forever homes. They can travel to Canada, US or island wide. These kittens are used to being part of the family, allowed indoors, litter box trained and good with cats/dogs. Dm if interested
