The Hedonism II Foundation has recently opened its first Reading Corner at Cave Valley Primary & Infant School in the parish of Hanover, an initiative under the Foundation’s Literacy for Life program.

A space that was once used to store unwanted items at the school is now transformed into a beautiful, decorated reading corner with beam bags, cushions, carpet, a table, chairs, bookshelves and a selection of reading books such as fiction, non-fiction, adventure, motivational and inspirational, STEM and activity books.

The students can enjoy reading their favorite book genre in a comfortable cool space with their teachers.

This initiative is to create independent readers and help readers grow.

The Principal, Mr. Pusey, welcomed this initiative and believes that it will improve the students’ reading skills.

Volunteers of the Foundation engaged the students in a reading activity and used inspiring and encouraging quotes to highlight the joy of reading.

We are committed to helping our children improve their literacy skills.
