On February 23rd, the Kiwanis Club of Rosehall,Montego Bay proudly culminated its Black History Month observance with an engaging and thought provoking Lecture and Question & Answer Session.
The event brought together four outstanding schools, over 50 enthusiastic students, dedicated teachers, and committed Kiwanians for an afternoon of learning, reflection, and celebration of Black excellence and heritage.
Students were actively engaged as they listened attentively to the insightful presentation, which highlighted the contributions, resilience, achievements, and enduring legacy of Black leaders and trailblazers throughout history. The interactive Question & Answer segment sparked critical thinking, meaningful dialogue, and a deeper appreciation for the struggles and triumphs that have shaped our world.
The atmosphere was vibrant and empowering, as young minds confidently shared their perspectives and demonstrated impressive knowledge and curiosity. It was truly inspiring to witness our future leaders embracing history with pride and purpose.
