The Spanish-Jamaican Foundation (The SJF) is a non-profit organization of goodwill that was established in 2006 by Spanish investors in Jamaica. Its main objective is to strengthen the relationship between Spain and Jamaica through the promotion and implementation of social, educational, cultural, environmental and health-based initiatives that contribute to community development, and increase the
well-being of the Jamaican people. The SJF is headed by an Honorary President (the Ambassador of Spain in Jamaica), an Executive Board – consisting of Spanish companies that have invested in Jamaica, and an Advisory Board formed by some of the country’s leading figures in the economic, political, cultural and educational arenas.
