Parent workshops by Children and Families Hub
The Children and Families Hub provides advice and support to help families in Jersey thrive. The team works directly with families and coordinates with other organisations to ensure the right help is offered at the right time.

Most of the services are free, and they’re here to support you with any challenges you may be facing.

Please see the attached flyer (Spring & Autumn Courses) promoting courses for parents and carers this Spring & Autumn.

We are also excited to share our NEW Parent Workshops, delivered by CAMHS Early Intervention Practitioners:

Understanding Anxiety
Understanding Emotional Regulation
Parent Wellbeing & Strengths
Understanding Self-harm

If parents would like to book, they can do so by either clicking the links or by scanning the QR code on the flyer.

All the available courses can be found here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/children-and-families-hub-112667916061

An incredible service, there to help when you really need it.

8 years ago, we helped our first Jersey family get treatment for their child in the UK

Since that first day, we have supported 320 local families.

Through close partnerships with the Jersey Children's Charity, Friends of the Jersey Neonatal Unit, and the The Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation , we have coordinated £550,000 to cover the hidden costs of off-island care.

Most of these trips are to Southampton, Great Ormond Street, or Portsmouth. But we’ve even stepped in to support a child receiving specialist treatment in Germany.

Right now, we’re actively supporting 76 families through their child's treatment and we could never do this without collaboration.

Health professionals refer the families.
Service providers handle the logistics.
Local charities fund the grants.
And families trust us.

We are so proud of what we’ve been able to do, but we are incredibly grateful to the island community that even makes this possible.

Our focus remains exactly the same as it was 8 years ago, making sure no family has to face their child needing specialist medical care alone.

If you believe this matters, please share this post or follow our page. If you know a family currently facing an off-island transfer, send them our way.

Thank you, Jersey.

This free session (through Eventbrite) sounds interesting, for those who may be looking for some extra tools to organise their admin with a special needs child.

Making paperwork, meetings, and everyday life feel a little more manageable for families navigating additional needs.

Another reminder, as deaf awareness week closes, how being deaf brings everyday challenges.
But following a few small changes can really help communication.
