Saraswati Cultural Association of New Jersey SCA is a non-profit, 501(c) tax exempt organization. SCA organize cultural programs, celebrate women month, and organize homeless drive every year.

A Non-Profit Organization founded in the late 80's to promote cultural awareness amongst the diverse communities in the tri-state area as well as sponsoring and heading fundraising events that assist several charities and individuals in need. It's mission is to promote ethnic harmony among multicultural society in USA, teach and encourage individuals to be proud of their heritage, be leaders of to

morrow and help the needy. Association was started at a time when there was too much hatred against Asian and there was a movement called "dot Buster" and many suffered because of that. Be proud of your heritage and share with others who you are so others have better understanding of your culture and develop respect for each others.

This past weekend, Saraswati Cultural Association, Inc. (SCA) proudly hosted our Women Empowerment Event: “Her Voice, Her Power, Her Journey.”

We were honored to recognize an incredible group of women who have dedicated their lives to uplifting others, serving the community, and inspiring the next generation of leaders. Their stories, resilience, and commitment remind us that every woman’s journey has the power to create change.

A heartfelt thank you to our honorees, panelists, sponsors, volunteers, and SCA board members who made this meaningful event possible. Together, we created a space where voices were heard, stories were shared, and women were celebrated.

As we continue to celebrate Women’s History Month, we are excited to remind everyone about our upcoming Women Empowerment Event:

Her Voice, Her Power, Her Journey
Saturday, March 14, 2026
3pm to 6pm
Piscataway Magnet School

This special event will bring our community together to celebrate the voices, achievements, and journeys of inspiring women. The afternoon will feature powerful TED-style talks from our panelists, cultural performances by local dance schools, student poetry, and artwork created by talented students in our community.

It will be a meaningful space to uplift, inspire, and empower one another while highlighting the strength and resilience of women from all walks of life.

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors who helped make this event possible. Your support allows us to continue creating programs that celebrate culture, creativity, and empowerment within our community. 💜
