CBZ's Ride Supporting NICU babies and families in the NICU and beyond especially those who have experienced loss

Christopher, Brayden and Zachary were triplets born on 08.30.2020 at 25 weeks, 4 days. Christopher and Brayden passed shortly after their births, and on 09.26.2020, after 27 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Zachary passed away. CBZ’s Ride symbolizes the roller coaster ride these three amazing boys went on as they fought as hard as they could to stay with us, as well as the emotional and physical roller coaster we went on as their parents, before, during and after they were born, a ride that still continues daily. Our mission is to fight as our boys fought – fight for every baby in the NICU and for every parent who is forced to deal with this experience. We want to help NICU babies get the best care possible, just as our boys did, so their parents never have to ride our same roller coaster. We plan on achieving this by raising money that can be used for new and upgraded equipment for the NICU and also used to support families by helping to reduce some of the stresses of life outside the NICU world.

Today on NICU Remembrance Day, we remember Christopher, Brayden and Zachary and all of the babies who spent their entire lives in the NICU.

Tonight at 8:52pm marks 6 years since we lost Zachary. Thank you to all of those who worked so hard to try to keep him here with us. You truly are amazing and we are so lucky to continue to have you as a support system.

It’s been 2 weeks since CBZ’s Ride’s 6th Annual Fundraiser. While this post is a little late, it doesn’t diminish the night we had. Even though the weather tried to put a damper, a major damper, on the night, the purpose of the event and the memory of Christopher, Brayden and Zachary overpowered the weather and made the night shine bright with amazing friends and family. Thank you to all who came out and joined or supported us through donations, your generosity helped us raise over $11,000 this year. Thank you to Maloney’s Pub, for hosting, for all those who donated baskets for our basket raffle and to Vintage Jamm for providing amazing live music.
