The Congregation of the Missionaries of Charity was founded by St. Mother Teresa in 1950. In the Mabolo location, they provide shelter and food to the underprivileged, the poorest of the poor, abandoned children and the sick, the old and the dying and those with disabilities. It is here where you see the tangible expression of the church's preferential option for the poor. The nuns have no resources for this mission and they greatly rely on the gracious donations that they receive. LIFE BASKET considers it a great privilege to be part of the mission. We provide sacks of rice, cases of canned goods to feed the residents. We invite you our readers to join us in this mission.
