🌊Thank you Kiwanis Club of Point Pleasant, NJ kids club for joining us at our workshop tonight!
🩷Armed with colorful fabric, curiosity, and a desire to make a difference, these young volunteers learned how to sew pediatric hospital gowns that will bring comfort and smiles to children facing medical challenges.
🩷Special thanks to our outstanding youth leaders Olivia, Kate, and Mateo, who patiently guided our beginner sewists every step of the way. Their leadership, teaching skills, and dedication helped turn first-time stitchers into confident makers!

Big news! 🎉
We are incredibly excited to announce that we’ve been selected to present a workshop at the 2026 Points of Light Conference in Washington, D.C.!

Audrina and I will be speaking on “Stitching Dignity: A Case Study in Youth-Led Social Action.” What started as a passion project has become an opportunity to share how young people can create meaningful change in their communities.

We’re honored to join nonprofit leaders, civic innovators, and changemakers from around the country and can’t wait to share our story.

☕️ Bringing some extra sunshine to hospital stays! ☀️✨
G’s Giving Gowns is so excited to share our recent collaboration with Starbucks! Together, we delivered 22 fun, summer-colored gift bags to the teen patients at K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. 🎒💚
Being a teenager in the hospital comes with its own unique set of challenges. Our mission has always been about providing dignity, comfort, and a sense of normalcy to young patients.
With these vibrant summer bags, we wanted to give these amazing teens a reason to smile, a distraction from treatments, and a reminder that they are teenagers first, and patients second.
A massive thank you to Starbucks for partnering with us to spread joy, and to the incredible staff at K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital for everything they do! 🙌🎗️ Additionally we dropped off 77 hospital gowns 🩷🩷

When a kid is in the hospital, getting one of our gowns helps a lot. We want each to be paired with a handwritten message or drawing from another kid. It is a small reminder that they have a whole community cheering them on, and it completely changes their day.
🌟 We are running low and need your help!
We are sending out more gowns than ever right now, which means we seriously need more cards. If you need a quick volunteer project or just want to do something cool for someone else, this is it.

How to help:
Grab the template: Go to our website and download the card template.
Make it bright: Have the kids write an encouraging note, draw something cool, or drop a funny joke.
Send it over: Mail them back to us, and we will pair them with a gown.

I am so honored to receive recognition as a finalist for the Congressional Medal of Honor. Thank you everyone for your support in sharing my mission to bring comfort and dignity to pediatric patients worldwide. It is your battles and brave stories that inspire me everyday 🎗️💛

The teen was recognized for work with her nonprofit that creates custom hospital gowns and more for pediatric cancer patients.

At G’sGiving Gowns: We listen. 💛

When the incredible Child Life team at K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center reached out to us with a specific request, we jumped right into action.

Meet our newest offering: Custom Ostomy Bag Covers! 🧵

Carla, who is one of our newest and youngest volunteers, completely stepped up to lead this project. She poured her heart into designing and sewing these beautiful, comfortable covers specifically for a brave young patient at the hospital. We are so incredibly proud of her talent and dedication.

Every child deserves to feel comfortable, confident, and colorful during their healing journey. When healthcare heroes tell us what their patients need, we alter our offerings to make it happen.

💻 Hospital Partners: We will be adding ostomy bag covers to our official hospital request forms on our website very soon! Keep an eye out so you can easily request them for your patients.
