Immersed in WAVES 🌊
A collective exhibition unfolding during the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia at Casa Sanlorenzo.

Curated by Sergio Risaliti and Cristiano Seganfreddo, the exhibition creates a dialogue between historical and contemporary practices through sculpture, painting, sound and spatial interventions.

Featuring works by Alexander Calder, Lucio Fontana, Fausto Melotti, Tony Cragg, Christine Safa, Marcello Maloberti and Friedrich Andreoni, WAVES transforms the interiors, garden and bridge of Casa Sanlorenzo into an immersive landscape of movement, resonance and light.

Astrophysicist Ersilia Vaudo Scarpetta expands the exhibition beyond the visible, connecting the oceanic with the cosmic through textual “interferences”.

✨ This summer, Hôtel Belles Rives and Burberry come together to create one of the season’s most captivating luxury experiences on the French Riviera.

🌊 For nearly a century, Hôtel Belles Rives has embodied the art of living, forever linked to the glamorous love story of F. Scott Fitzgerald and Zelda Fitzgerald. Since 1929, the Estène-Chauvin family has preserved the hotel’s timeless Art Deco elegance and spirit of joyful hospitality.

🐚 For Summer 2026, Burberry has transformed the hotel’s beach club, terraces, pier, and interiors with a Riviera-blue reinterpretation of its iconic check pattern. The takeover, running until September 30, 2026, coincides with Burberry’s High Summer 2026 campaign under creative director Daniel Lee, alongside a collaboration with Hunza G featuring resort-inspired swimwear and accessories.

🏎️ Last weekend, on May 16–17, we had the opportunity to experience the annual luxury automotive event, Concorso d’Eleganza, held on the shores of Lake Como.

🕰️ The history of this remarkable event dates back to 1929, when the Coppa d’Oro Villa d’Este was created by the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este and the Automobile Club of Como. After decades of inactivity, the event was permanently relaunched in 1999 with the support of BMW. Since then, BMW Group and Villa d’Este have organized it annually, transforming it into one of the most prestigious concours events in the world.

⛲️ We arrived at the spectacular Villa Erba on the morning of May 16th, ready to immerse ourselves in the luxurious atmosphere of Lake Como. The event featured exhibitions both inside the pavilions and throughout the beautiful lakeside gardens, where guests could enjoy a cheerful aperitivo by the water and connect with like-minded people who share a passion for automobiles and design.

🌳 One of the main attractions of the 2026 edition was the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the iconic BMW M3. Villa Erba’s lakeside lawn was transformed into the “BMW M3 Meadow”, where every generation of the legendary model was displayed together. The event also featured a special exhibition titled “Touring Car Legends”, dedicated to classic racing sedans and iconic DTM-era competition cars.

💫We visited Golden Goose HAUS in Marghera on the 9th of May, to experience The Forest For The Trees, the new immersive installation created together with Playlab Inc. 🌳⭐️

🌲From the very first step, the experience felt less like an exhibition and more like entering a living storybook. Guests were guided through dreamlike spaces filled with hand-painted trees, theatrical sets, nature soundscapes, interactive workshops, and collective art-making moments designed to awaken a sense of imagination and childlike wonder.

🌴Because every dream begins as a sketch, a small idea waiting to take shape, the experience invited visitors not only to observe, but to create. During the interactive workshop spaces, we painted, experimented, and made our own miniature trees and artworks, becoming part of the growing forest ourselves. Surrounded by brushes, paper textures, nature-inspired illustrations, and collective creativity, the workshop transformed the installation into a shared creative journey where every participant left a personal mark on the story.

🪾As we moved through each room, the installation unfolded like the growth of a dream itself: something fragile at first, slowly becoming stronger through time, care, craftsmanship, and persistence. Hidden between candle-lit spaces, immersive tunnels, woodland-inspired visuals, and handcrafted details, the entire journey blurred the line between fashion, art, and storytelling.

🌳More than an installation, The Forest For The Trees became an invitation to slow down, reconnect with imagination, and experience creativity through emotion, community, and human connection. For a few hours, Golden Goose transformed HAUS into a poetic forest where visitors didn’t just witness the experience , they became part of it. 🌱

As we walk through the streets of Brera, one of the key districts of Milan Design Week, we breathe in the spring air and take in the greenery while visiting exhibitions by some of the most renowned luxury brands participating in the event. 🌱✨

Our journey begins at Palazzo Landriani, where Dior Maison presents an exhibition devoted to lamps. The new Corolle collection, designed in collaboration with Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, offers pieces that feel less like functional lighting and more like poetic propositions. Some lamps are crafted in hand-blown Murano glass, while others incorporate madake bamboo shaped by artisans in Kyoto, each object reflecting a refined balance between craftsmanship and imagination.

Continuing through Brera, we encounter Gucci Memoria, an exhibition by Gucci devoted to the history of the House and its Florentine roots. A sequence of scenes unfolds across time, immersing visitors in the brand’s evolution, while floral installations inspired by the iconic Flora motif create a vivid and dreamlike atmosphere.

We then arrive at the pavilion of Loro Piana, which takes an unexpected approach by dedicating the entire space to a single object: the blanket. The plaid has been central to the brand since the mid-1980s, when it became one of its first finished products. Here, twenty-four plaids are presented as individual studies, each exploring texture, technique, and the quiet sophistication that defines Loro Piana’s textile heritage.

Our journey concludes with Valentino Beauty, which presents a pop-up experience described as “Surrounded. Scent as Space.” In this immersive installation, fragrance is no longer treated as a standalone product but as an environment - something to move through and inhabit. The space is brought to life through the collaboration with Tabboo!, whose bold, graphic patterns animate the installation, transforming it into a multisensory landscape where scent and visual expression merge seamlessly.

Last week we had the opportunity to attend an event organized by the Venice School of Management, dedicated to the new codes of luxury.

🎓💫 From classroom to the world of luxury
Ca’ Foscari graduates shared their career paths and personal journeys into the industry, where Martina Aimetti (JR Studio) showed how curiosity and perseverance can shape a dream into reality, while Elena Mazzuccato (Hyphen-Group) highlighted the value of building and nurturing meaningful connections. Alessandro Vecchiato (Maison Alaïa), in turn, encouraged students to go beyond their limits and explore their full potential.

✨Communicating luxury, Experienced professionals then shared their perspectives on the evolving meaning of luxury.
Elisabetta Armellin (V73) emphasized the importance of following one’s vision with passion, while Blerina Pilkati (Venice Venice Hotel) described luxury as something to be perceived rather than defined. Danilo Quagliozzi (Hotel Cipriani), ultimately, reminded us that luxury is, above all, about people.
