Does anyone want some cuttings from my coleus before they get hit by frost? This is what I cut for myself and there's plenty more. Bring jars or vases. I have the clippers.

These butterflies will probably emerge from their chrysalises beginning next weekend, and, hopefully, fly to Mexico . Happy Fall! Joyce Bucci

You were all in the mood for yard signs yesterday! Quite a few went home to gardens make a point ;) In my own garden I switch out my Firefly Habitat sign in September for this Leave the Leaves sign. They are very much conversation starters as neighbors walk by with their dogs and often stop to ask about the sign, or have a gardening/pollinator/wildlife question. These Victory Gardens of Tomorrow signs made in Oregon come in many pollinator and native plant themes, we carry 11 kinds in the farm stand. You can also order direct from Joe himself at address in comments.
Shortened open hours today Saturday 9/19: 9:30-1:00 for my last official open day. I'll post some open hours for next week depending on my schedule/weather. Check this space, my spreadsheet and website, updates will be made by 9 PM the evening before.

Four members of the Day Heights Garden Club attended the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs, Inc. Nature Retreat on Tuesday of this week in Hocking Hills. They toured the Bishop and Wahkeena gardens and saw our beautiful Milky Way at the John Glenn Astronomy Park. As a member of our club, you too can take advantage of programs like these offered by the state organization.
