In an attempt to contribute to the artistic spirit of Florence, and in cooperation with Studio Art Centers International and Jordanube for Arts, we are excited to bring to you this special selection of artists from across the globe. While currently seeking roots and relationships in the lively and historic city of Florence, our network of working gifted inventors draw geographical lines in a space
previously left abandoned. We are choosing tonight to showcase six creators, each chosen for their individual aesthetic and artistic variety. For the following six weeks, the space will be providing events open to the public, for working creatives and interested visitors alike, to participate in the innovative experience we desire to offer. Works presented are meant to breathe new meaning into theories of contemporary globalization. The space, an empty storefront now acting as a private studio, is given new life through a series of weekly events, presentations of works, collaborative live action painting, live music and poetry readings, as well as evenings dedicated to specific locations across the globe. In a time of increasing inter-connectivity, these pop-up events will act as a bridge across the many lands and waters which separate us all by celebrating the complex diversity and culture that lives right here with us in Florence.
