🇮🇹Visita alla Caserma dei Corazzieri – Roma
Durante la nostra visita a Roma abbiamo avuto l’onore e il privilegio di varcare le porte della Caserma “Maggiore Alessandro Negri di Sanfront”, sede storica del Reggimento Corazzieri, Guardia d’Onore e di Sicurezza del Presidente della Repubblica Italiana.
Un’esperienza che va oltre la semplice visita: un’immersione nei valori, nella disciplina e nella bellezza di una tradizione secolare.
All’interno di questo straordinario complesso, parte delle antiche costruzioni monastiche annesse alla Chiesa di Santa Susanna, abbiamo potuto osservare luoghi di grande valore storico: dalle scuderie e dal maneggio, dove si allenano quotidianamente i cavalli protagonisti delle cerimonie più solenni, alla selleria, con finimenti che raccontano secoli di equitazione militare.
Particolarmente suggestiva la visita alle sale storiche, dove elmi, armature e stendardi testimoniano l’evoluzione del Reggimento nel tempo. Il celebre corridoio delle corazze rappresenta in modo emblematico l’identità e la continuità di questa prestigiosa istituzione.
Sotto la caserma si estende inoltre un complesso archeologico di epoca romana, con resti delle mura serviane e un ninfeo decorato da raffinati mosaici, a conferma di come questo luogo sia un ponte tra epoche diverse.
Ringraziamo sentitamente il Reggimento Corazzieri e il Quirinale per l’opportunità concessa.
Una mattinata intensa e formativa, che ci ha ricordato quanto sia fondamentale custodire, onorare e trasmettere la memoria e le tradizioni del nostro Paese. 🇮🇹
🇬🇧 Visit to the Corazzieri Barracks – Rome
During our visit to Rome, we had the honor and privilege of entering the “Maggiore Alessandro Negri di Sanfront” Barracks, the historic headquarters of the Corazzieri Regiment, the Guard of Honor and Security of the President of the Italian Republic.
An experience that went far beyond a simple visit: a true immersion in the values, discipline, and beauty of a centuries-old tradition.
Within this extraordinary complex, part of the ancient monastic buildings adjoining the Church of Santa Susanna, we were able to explore places of great historical value: from the stables and riding arena, where the horses that take part in the most solemn ceremonies are trained daily, to the saddlery, whose equipment tells the story of centuries of military horsemanship.
Particularly evocative was the visit to the historical halls, where helmets, armor, and banners bear witness to the evolution of the Regiment over time. The famous corridor of cuirasses powerfully represents the identity and continuity of this prestigious institution.
Beneath the barracks also lies a Roman archaeological complex, with remains of the ancient Servian Walls and a nymphaeum decorated with refined mosaics, confirming how this place truly serves as a bridge between different eras.

It was an intense and enriching morning, reminding us how essential it is to preserve, honor, and pass on the memory and traditions of our country. 🇮🇹
