Truly Cerebral 🎬

Hur skildrar man något som är så olika för varje människa?

Vi är stolta över att vara en del av internationella nätverk som utmanar perspektiv, bryter normer och skapar förändring. Ett exempel är A Truly Cerebral Campaign, en film som utforskar utmaningen i att representera cerebral pares och vad som händer när verkligheten gång på gång skriver om manuset.

Filmen är framtagen av Italien, tillsammans med reklambyrån DUDE, med utgångspunkt i ett viktigt budskap: Miljoner av oss. Ingen är den andra lik.

För cerebral pares ser olika ut för alla. Bakom diagnosen finns människor med olika erfarenheter, förmågor, uttryck och drömmar. Och det är just den mångfalden som förtjänar att synas.

Hoje é Dia Mundial da Paralisia Cerebral!

Na APPC, este é um mais um dia para afirmar a diversidade das pessoas com paralisia cerebral e o seu direito a fazer escolhas, participar e desenvolver os seus projetos de vida.

Este ano, juntamo-nos à A Truly Cerebral Campaign, uma iniciativa internacional que parte de uma ideia simples: não existe uma única forma de viver com paralisia cerebral — e também não existe uma única forma de a representar.

A campanha convida ainda pessoas com paralisia cerebral a participar no Truly Cerebral Casting, através de um pequeno vídeo de apresentação. Não é necessária experiência de representação.

Neste 6 de outubro, reafirmamos o compromisso da APPC com os direitos, a autonomia, a participação e a voz de cada pessoa.

Today, on World Cerebral Palsy Day, Cerebral Palsy Europe joins international partners in launching A Truly Cerebral Campaign.
There is no single way to live with Cerebral Palsy — and there should be no single way to represent it.

Created by Fightthestroke in collaboration with DUDE MILANO, the campaign challenges stereotypes and narrow representations of Cerebral Palsy, reflecting the diversity of experiences, identities and ways of communicating, moving, participating and living.

People with Cerebral Palsy must be directly involved in how Cerebral Palsy is represented.

A Truly Cerebral Campaign puts this principle into practice through the Truly Cerebral Casting, inviting people with Cerebral Palsy to contribute to a broader and more authentic representation of Cerebral Palsy.

Different experiences. Equal rights. Full participation.
