The cultural association AUGE, established in Palermo in September 2017, arises from the passion of founders to promote the rich cultural environment of Palermo, within the international scene. AUGE embraces the vision that culture, considered in its multifaceted expressions and declinations (e.g. tangible and intangible heritage,creative industries,cultural diversity, sustainable tourism) is a s
trategic tool not only for economic revenue but also for other important aspects, such as social inclusion, technological innovation and entrepreneurship for local individuals. AUGE takes advantage from its international network composed by professors and researchers from different European Universities, young professionals in art and related field, acting in the cultural and creative sector. As the next stage, AUGE will expand its network to global experts in order to builuing bridges with other countries and foster a deeper understanding of cultural expressions through education programmes, research activities, temporary events and cultural exchanges.
