In addition to serving as a critical line of communication between U.S service members and their families back home, our Service to the Armed Forces station provides quality of life programs to personnel onboard Naval Support Activity Naples, Italy.

This free 45 minute workshop will teach techniques for de-stressing and relaxation and is open to any adults who would like to attend.

Time: 2:30-3:15pm
Location: USNH Naples (Support Site) Classroom 3B
Note: Please bring your own yoga mat/towel if possible.

I would like to extend a special thank you to our service and therapy dog, Dez, and his handler, Kim. For the past two years, Dez and Kim have been an invaluable part of our PAWS team, generously volunteering their time with numerous USO activities, Red Cross flu clinics, and blood pressure events. They also brought comfort and joy while visiting troops at C4i and the hospital, participating in library and school events, and spreading smiles everywhere they went.

Dez often teamed up with Sancho at events, and together they quickly became known as a fantastic duo who brightened every room they entered.

Thank you, Kim and Dez, for your dedication, compassion, and service to the community. You will both be greatly missed, and we’re sure you will continue to bring comfort and smiles at your next post.

PCS season is tough for our therapy dog team! Yesterday, Daisy completed her final hospital visit and had over 80 interactions. She has been an incredibly active PAW member over the past year, and both she and her handler, Makayla, will be greatly missed!

The program will take place at U.S. Naval Hospital Naples consist of 15-20 hours per week for a 6 month period and will prepare students for U.S. State Board Exams.

Our Red Cross PAWS Daisy stopped by the Eggstravaganza Easter egg hunt at the Support Site last weekend, spreading smiles and racking up over 100 interactions in just two hours. She even had the chance to meet the Easter Bunny!
