The international creative enterprise that promotes chamber music and cultural heritage, fostering social inclusion and innovation within a circular economy. Le Dimore del Quartetto creates occasions of encounter in unconventional places and brings a new public closer to chamber music. The main activity is based on the exchange between hospitality and concerts: in occasion of an artistic commitmen
t, the ensembles are hosted by a house of the network and, in exchange, the musicians gift the house owners with a concert. This exchange creates a circular economy that gets back to all the participants much more than the resources employed:
• the houses open their spaces through a structured cultural activity;
• the quartets find places where to gather and study quietly;
• the public participates for free at high-quality concerts with a unique format, not only listening but mostly living an immersive experience into beauty. Today, Le Dimore del Quartetto, with a consolidated network of houses, ensembles and partners in the fields of music and of the cultural heritage, is specialized in planning and in the management of diverse projects, such as festivals and travel itineraries, masterclasses and training programs for musicians, educational projects for schools and universities, team-building activities for companies, residencies and concerts in historic houses and other places of cultural interest. In 2017, the activities of Le Dimore del Quartetto have been presented at the Chamber of Deputies, upon invitation of the Cultural Commission, as part of the research “Best practices of cultural diffusion“. In 2019, Le Dimore del Quartetto is among the winners of the European Heritage Award / Europa Nostra Award 2019, the most prestigious prize in Europe, in the “Education, training and awareness” category. In 2020, the project MUSA – European young MUsicians soft Skills Alliance of Le Dimore del Quartetto, aimed at developing the entrepreneurial skills of musicians, has won Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, in the area “Strategic partnership to support innovation”. In the same year, Le Dimore del Quartetto has been presented as “Project of Influence” by The Best in Heritage. In 2021 Le Dimore del Quartetto has organized the 150th anniversary of the passing of Cristina Trivulzio di Belgiojoso through a cultural itinerary which leads to the placement of the first statue dedicated to a female historical figure in Milan. Le Dimore del Quartetto has been presented as case study of entrepreneurship and cultural innovation during the courses of Cultural Heritage Management of the Bocconi University, SDA Bocconi School of Management, Cattolica University in Milan and at the Master’s degree in Planning and access to European funds for Culture, Creativity and Multimedia of Università degli Studi di Perugia.
