I.A.E.S.T.E Iran The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience - Iran IAESTE was first established at the University of Tehran.

The faculty of Engineering at the University of Tehran applied for a membership as a Co-operating Institution which was accepted on June 2002 in Advisory Committee at Varsho, Poland. Each year the number of our offers was increased and we are proud that during the previous years we have been he representative of Iran with more 100 offers annually and a number of 70 exchanges each year. Sharif Univ

ersity of Technology became a member one year after IAESTE at the University of Tehran. Later we decided to join both Cooperating Institutions to make a better outcome. So in January 2005 we applied for Associate Membership and Iran is at the moment one of the active members of IAESTE.
