Throughout the conflict and over the past months, WFP Iran did not suspend its operations. Despite significant challenges, our teams continued delivering vital food assistance to the most vulnerable refugees across the country.

During this period, WFP also expanded its caseload to reach more people in need, including Iranian citizens, ensuring that essential support continued when it was needed most.

Because even in times of crisis, hunger cannot wait.

در طول مناقشات و طی ماه‌های گذشته، برنامه جهانی غذا (WFP) در ایران هیچ‌گاه عملیات خود را متوقف نکرد. با وجود چالش‌های گسترده، تیم‌های ما به ارائه کمک‌های حیاتی غذایی به آسیب‌پذیرترین پناهندگان در سراسر کشور ادامه دادند.

در همین مدت، WFP دامنه حمایت‌های خود را نیز گسترش داد تا افراد بیشتری را که به کمک نیاز داشتند، از جمله شهروندان ایرانی، تحت پوشش قرار دهد و اطمینان حاصل کند که کمک‌های ضروری در زمانی که بیش از هر زمان دیگری مورد نیاز بود، به دست آنان برسد.

⁨ اتحادیه اروپا با اختصاص ۳ میلیون و ۸۰ هزار یورو، از تداوم کمک‌های حیاتی برنامه جهانی غذا در ایران حمایت می‌کند.

این کمک مالی طی ۱۲ ماه، زمینه کمک‌رسانی به ۵۲ هزار نفر، شامل ۳۵ هزار پناهنده آسیب‌پذیر و ۱۷ هزار شهروند ایرانی آسیب‌دیده از مناقشه نظامی را فراهم خواهد کرد.

میساالغریباوی، نماینده برنامه جهانی غذا در ایران، گفت: “بسیاری از خانواده‌های آسیب‌پذیر در ایران با فشارهای اقتصادی روبه‌رو هستند که توانایی آنان را برای تامین غذای مورد نیاز خانواده تهدید می‌کند. با حمایت اتحادیه اروپا، برنامه جهانی غذامی‌تواند به ارائه کمک‌های حیاتی ادامه دهد؛ کمک‌هایی که علاوه بر پاسخ‌گویی به نیازهای فوری، به تقویت تاب‌آوری خانواده‌ها در بلندمدت نیز کمک می‌کند.”

The European Union is strengthening its partnership with WFP in Iran through a €3.08 million contribution to help sustain food security over the next 12 months.

With this support, WFP plans to reach 52,000 people across Iran, 35,000 vulnerable refugees and 17,000 conflict-affected Iranians.

“Many vulnerable families in Iran are facing growing economicpressures that threaten their ability to put food on the table,” said Mayssa Alghribaway, WFP Representative in Iran. “Thanks to the support of the European Union, WFP can continue providing critical assistance that not only meets immediate needs but also helps strengthen resilience over time.”⁩

۲۲ سال از زلزله ویرانگر #بم می‌گذرد؛ فاجعه‌ای که جان هزاران نفر را گرفت و مسیر زندگی بسیاری را برای همیشه تغییر داد.

در روزهای نخست پس از این حادثه، برنامه جهانی غذا با ارسال فوری کمک‌های غذایی از انبار بشردوستانه سازمان ملل متحد در ایتالیا، در کنار آسیب‌دیدگان ایستاد و برای ماه‌ها به تامین نیازهای غذایی مورد نیاز بازماندگان کمک کرد.

امروز، یاد جان‌باختگان را گرامی می‌داریم و به تاب‌آوری و استقامت مردمی ادای احترام می‌کنیم که با وجود رنج، ایستادند و ادامه دادند.

Twenty-two years have passed since the devastating earthquake, a tragedy that claimed thousands of lives and permanently altered the lives of countless families.

In the immediate aftermath, the World Food Programme stood with those affected, delivering emergency food assistance from the United Nations Humanitarian Response Depot in Italy and helping survivors meet their most basic needs during the months that followed.

Today, we honor the memory of those who were lost and pay tribute to the resilience, strength, and dignity of the people who endured and rebuilt their lives.

با حمایت سخاوتمندانه دولت ژاپن، برنامه جهانی غذا (WFP) روند ارسال آرد گندم غنی‌شده به تمامی ۲۰ مهمانشهر در سراسر ایران را آغاز کرده است؛ اقدامی که بیش از ۳۳ هزار نفر از آسیب‌پذیرترین پناهندگان را تحت پوشش قرار می‌دهد.

برای هزاران خانواده، نان یکی از اصلی‌ترین اقلام غذایی روزانه است و این محموله، تداوم دسترسی آنان به یکی از حیاتی‌ترین اجزای سبد غذایی‌شان را تضمین می‌کند.

برنامه جهانی غذا با قدردانی از همبستگی و حمایت مستمر حامیان مالی و شرکای خود، همچنان بر تعهد خود برای پشتیبانی از کسانی که بیشترین نیاز را دارند، پایبند است.

日本政府のご支援により、WFPはイラン国内の全20か所の難民居住地に対し、栄養強化小麦粉の配布を開始しました。この支援は、最も脆弱な立場にある33,000人以上の難民を対象としています。

何千もの家族にとって、パンは不可欠な主食です。今回の配布により、食料バスケットの中で最も重要な食品の一つへ継続的なアクセスが確保されます。

WFPは、ドナーやパートナーの皆様の継続的なサポートに支えられ、最も支援を必要とする人々への支援を続けてまいります。

With the generous contribution of the Government of Japan (), WFP has begun dispatching fortified wheat flour to all 20 refugee settlements across Iran, covering more than 33,000 of the most vulnerable refugees.

For thousands of families, bread is a vital staple, and this delivery ensures continued access to one of the most essential items in their food basket.
