بمناسبة يوم البيئة العالمي، نظم فريق حماة البيئة في شنكال في 5 حزيران 2026 مبادرة بيئية تطوعية في منطقة نبع پيرا خاي السياحية، بهدف الحفاظ على نظافة وجمال هذا الموقع السياحي، وتعزيز استدامة نظافته من خلال حملة تنظيف ونصب قفص لتجميع النفايات ووضع لافتات توعوية وإرشادية.
تضمنت المبادرة الأنشطة التالية:
1- حملة تنظيف شاملة: شملت مجرى ورأس النبع بهدف جعل المكان أنظف للجميع اثناء زيارة المكان.
2- نصب قفص حديدي مخصص للنفايات: تم وضعه قرب رأس النبع لتشجيع السياح والزائرين على رمي النفايات داخل القفص بدلاً من تركها في مكانهم ، ليتم تفريغه وتنظيفه بشكل دوري.
3- لوحات توعوية وإرشادية: تثبيت لافتتين في المكان بهدف إرشاد وتشجيع الزائرين إلى رمي نفاياتهم في القفص وعدم تركها في مكانهم.
شارك في الحملة 15 متطوعاً وناشطاً بيئياً من مختلف مناطق سنجار، من بينهم عدد من أعضاء لجنة الموارد الطبيعية التابعة لبيت التعايش، إلى جانب مجموعة من الأشخاص الشغوفين بحماية البيئة.
وقد أسفرت الحملة عن جمع 60 كيساً من النفايات من محيط النبع ومجراه، في خطوة تهدف إلى الحفاظ على نظافة الموقع وتعزيز الوعي البيئي بين الزائرين.
نعبر عن خالص شكرنا وتقديرنا إلى جميع المشاركين والمتطوعين الذين ساهموا معنا من اجل تنفيذ هذه المبادرة البيئية لأجل شنكال أنظف وأجمل لنا جميعاً.
كما نأمل من جميع زوار نبع پيرا خاي المساهمة في الحفاظ على نظافة المكان من خلال استخدام القفص المخصص للنفايات وترك الموقع نظيفاً ليستمتع به الجميع.
On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Shingal Environmental Keepers (SEK) organized a voluntary environmental initiative on 5 June 2026 at the Pira Khai Spring tourist area. The initiative aimed to preserve the cleanliness and beauty of this natural site and promote its long-term sustainability through a clean-up campaign, the installation of a waste collection cage, and the placement of awareness and guidance signs.
The initiative included the following activities:
1- Comprehensive Clean-up Campaign: The clean-up covered both the spring source and its watercourse, with the aim of making the area cleaner and more enjoyable for all visitors.
2- Installation of a Waste Collection Cage: A metal waste collection cage was installed near the spring source to encourage tourists and visitors to dispose of their waste properly instead of leaving it behind. The cage will be emptied and maintained on a regular basis.
3- Awareness and Guidance Signs: Two signs were installed at the site to guide and encourage visitors to place their waste in the designated cage and avoid littering.
A total of 15 volunteers and environmental activists from different regions of Shingal participated in the campaign, including several members of the Natural Resources Committee of the House of Coexistence, alongside a group of individuals passionate about environmental protection.
The campaign resulted in the collection of 60 bags of waste from the spring and its surrounding watercourse, contributing to the preservation of the site and raising environmental awareness among visitors.
We express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all participants and volunteers who contributed to the success of this environmental initiative for a cleaner and more beautiful Shingal for everyone.
We also encourage all visitors to Pira Khai Spring to help maintain the cleanliness of the area by using the designated waste collection cage and leaving the site clean for everyone to enjoy.
