بمناسبة حصولها على منحة دراسية في كلية العلوم الصحية المساندة(College of Allied Health Science) في الجامعة الأمريكية في بغداد.
وقد كانت الطالبة فاطمة إحدى المتطوعات الفاعلات ضمن أنشطة الجمعية، حيث ساهمت في مشاريع الإغاثة وحملات التوعية الطبية، وأظهرت التزاماً عالياً وروحاً إنسانية مميزة.

The Engineering Association for Development and Environment (EADE) extends its warmest congratulations to the outstanding student

Their dedication, commitment, and strong teamwork have contributed greatly to the completion of activities even beyond the borders of Nineveh Governorate, strengthening the reputation and impact of the Association.

مع تسارع التحولات البيئية والاقتصادية عالميًا، تتجه فرص العمل المستقبلية بشكل متزايد نحو الوظائف الخضراء والمهارات المرتبطة بالاستدامة. وتشير تقارير منظمة العمل الدولية (ILO) إلى أن التحول الأخضر يمكن أن يوفر أكثر من 24 مليون فرصة عمل جديدة بحلول عام 2030، في قطاعات حيوية تمس الاقتصاد والمجتمع مباشرة.

تشمل هذه الفرص مجالات الطاقة المتجددة، والإدارة البيئية، والبناء الأخضر، وتحليل البيانات البيئية، إلى جانب نمو واضح في الخدمات الصحية والرعاية طويلة الأمد مثل الصحة الرقمية والتمريض المتقدم ورعاية كبار السن. كما يبرز قطاع الأنظمة الغذائية المستدامة والزراعة الذكية كأحد ركائز الأمن الغذائي والتكيف مع التغيرات المناخية.

ويلعب التعليم التقني والمهني المرتبط بالتحول الأخضر (Green Skills in TVET) دورًا أساسيًا في إعداد الشباب لسوق العمل الجديد، حيث أصبحت المهارات العملية والشهادات المهنية المعتمدة عاملًا حاسمًا في فرص التوظيف. فالتحول الأخضر لم يعد خيارًا مستقبليًا، بل فرصة حقيقية يجب الاستثمار فيها من الآن.

#الاستدامة

As global environmental and economic transformations accelerate, future job opportunities are increasingly shifting toward green jobs and sustainability-related skills. According to International Labour Organization (ILO) reports, the green transition has the potential to create more than 24 million new jobs by 2030, across vital sectors that directly impact economies and societies.

These opportunities include renewable energy, environmental management, green construction, and environmental data analysis, alongside strong growth in health and long-term care services, such as digital health, advanced nursing, and elderly care. Sustainable and resilient food systems, including smart agriculture, are also becoming a key pillar of food security and climate adaptation.

Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) aligned with green skills plays a critical role in preparing youth for the evolving labor market, as practical competencies and accredited professional certifications are increasingly valued over traditional academic titles alone. The green transition is no longer a future option, but a real opportunity that must be invested in today.

شارك وفد الجمعية الهندسية للتطوير والبيئة (EADE) في فعاليات ملتقى البيئة والتنمية المستدامة ودورها في بناء السلام، الذي أُقيم في قاعة ماي ستي في مدينة الموصل، بتنظيم كلية العلوم وبالتعاون مع منظمة ريزان للتنمية والبيئة والتطوير وبدعم من وزارة الخارجية الألمانية وـ ifa.

وخلال الملتقى، تم تسليم الجمعية شهادة مشاركة تقديرًا لدورها في دعم الجهود البيئية والمناخية، ومساهمتها في تعزيز المبادرات الخضراء وبناء شراكات فاعلة تخدم الاستدامة في العراق.

تؤكد الجمعية استمرارها في المشاركة بالفعاليات العلمية والبيئية التي تدعم الوعي البيئي والعمل المناخي وتعزز مسار التنمية المستدامة.

Adelegation from the Engineering Association for Development & Environment (EADE) took part in the Environment and Sustainable Development Forum and its Role in Peacebuilding, held at My City Hall in Mosul.
The event was organized by the College of Science in collaboration with Rezan Organization for Development, Environment and Advancement, and supported by the German Federal Foreign Office and ifa.

During the forum, EADE was awarded a Certificate of Participation in recognition of its active role in supporting environmental and climate efforts, promoting green initiatives, and strengthening partnerships that contribute to sustainability in Iraq.

EADE reaffirms its commitment to participating in scientific and environmental events that enhance awareness, advance climate action, and support sustainable development pathways.

شاركت الجمعية الهندسية للتطوير والبيئة (EADE) في فعالية برنامج بناء القدرة على الصمود من خلال تعزيز فرص العمل (BREP) في الموصل، المنفّذ من قبل برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي UNDP ومؤسسة NEF بدعم من BMZ وKfW.

وتضمّنت المشاركة لقاءات مع الشركاء لاستكشاف فرص التعاون في تطوير مهارات الشباب، ودعم ريادة الأعمال، وتعزيز التعافي الاقتصادي المستدام في نينوى. وتؤكد الجمعية التزامها بالمبادرات التي تعزز العمل اللائق والابتكار والتنمية الشاملة.

The Engineering Association for Development & Environment (EADE) participated in the BREP event in Mosul, implemented by UNDP and NEF with support from BMZ and KfW.

The participation included engagements with partners to explore opportunities for collaboration in youth skills development, entrepreneurship support, and sustainable economic recovery in Nineveh. EADE reaffirms its commitment to initiatives that promote decent work, innovation, and inclusive development.

كانت مشاركة وفد الجمعية الهندسية للتطوير والبيئة في مؤتمر الأطراف للتغيرات المناخية كوب 30 في مدينة بيليم – البرازيل خلال هذا الشهر، فرصة مميزة لعقد لقاء مثمر مع وفد المنظمة العالمية للاقتصاد الأخضر (WGEO)، وهي منظمة دولية رائدة تعمل على تعزيز التحول نحو الاقتصاد الأخضر ودعم الدول النامية في مجالات تمويل المناخ، وبناء القدرات، وتطوير السياسات البيئية بما ينسجم مع أهداف التنمية المستدامة واتفاق باريس للمناخ.

ويأتي هذا اللقاء بعد سلسلة من الاجتماعات الافتراضية السابقة بين الطرفين، عبّر خلالها كلٌ من الجمعية و"وجيو" عن رغبتهم المشتركة في تطوير التعاون، ولا سيما في مجال تشجيع الاعتماد الدولي للبرامج التدريبية التي يقدمها مجتمع التكنولوجيا الخضراء (CGT) التابع للجمعية، والذي يعمل على تعزيز مهارات الشباب في التنمية المستدامة، والذكاء الاصطناعي، والتعليم البيئي، والطاقة المتجددة.

وخلال الاجتماع في أروقة قمة كوب 30، ناقش الجانبان آليات التعاون المستقبلي، واتفقا على البدء بخطوات عملية بعد انتهاء المؤتمر، بما يشمل إعداد برامج تدريبية مشتركة وتوسيع دائرة الشراكة بين المؤسستين في خدمة العمل المناخي ودعم قدرات الشباب والمجتمع.
The participation of the Engineering Association for Development and Environment (EADE) delegation in the COP30 Climate Change Conference held this month in Belém, Brazil, provided a valuable opportunity for a productive meeting with the delegation of the World Green Economy Organization (WGEO). WGEO is an international organization that plays a leading role in promoting the transition towards a green economy, and supporting developing countries in climate finance, capacity building, and environmental policy development, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement.

This meeting follows a series of previous virtual discussions between the two sides, during which EADE and WGEO expressed their mutual interest in strengthening cooperation—particularly in promoting international accreditation for the training programs offered by EADE’s Community of Green Technology (CGT) initiative. CGT aims to enhance youth skills in sustainable development, artificial intelligence, environmental education, and renewable energy.

During the in-person meeting at COP30, both parties discussed potential mechanisms for future collaboration and agreed to begin practical steps after the conclusion of the conference, including the development of joint training programs and expanding institutional partnership efforts to support climate action and empower youth and communities.

التقى وفد الجمعية الهندسية للتطوير والبيئة بالوفد العراقي المشارك في مؤتمر الأطراف للتغيرات المناخية كوب 30 المنعقد في مدينة بيليم – البرازيل للمدة من 10 إلى 21 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2025.
وخلال اللقاء، قدّم الدكتور يوسف مؤيّد – أحد الأعضاء الأساسيين في الوفد العراقي المفاوض – شرحًا مفصّلًا حول طبيعة مشاركة العراق في المؤتمر، وما تضمّنته وثيقة المساهمات الوطنية المحدّثة (NDC)، إضافة إلى جهود العراق في المطالبة بالالتزامات المالية من صناديق المناخ الدولية لتمكينه من تنفيذ خطة المساهمات الوطنية ضمن الجدول الزمني المحدد.

The delegation of the Engineering Association for Development and Environment (EADE) met with the Iraqi delegation participating in the COP30 Climate Change Conference, held in Belém, Brazil from 10 to 21 November 2025.
During the meeting, Dr. Youssef Moayyed, one of the key members of the Iraqi negotiating team, provided a detailed briefing on Iraq’s participation in the conference and the submission of its Updated Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC). He also highlighted Iraq’s efforts to secure financial commitments from international climate funds to enable the implementation of the NDC plan within the specified timeframe.

خلال مشاركة الوفد في مؤتمر الأطراف للتغيرات المناخية كوب 30 المنعقد في مدينة بيليم – البرازيل للمدة من 10 إلى 21 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2025، قام الوفد بزيارة عدد من أجنحة الدول المشاركة في المؤتمر للاطلاع على البرامج والمبادرات التي تقدمها المنظمات الدولية والإقليمية في مجالات التكيّف مع التغيرات المناخية، وبناء القدرات، وتعزيز العمل المناخي. تأتي هذه الزيارات في إطار حرص الوفد على تبادل الخبرات واستكشاف فرص التعاون لدعم الجهود الوطنية في مجالات الاستدامة والعمل المناخي.

During the delegation’s participation in the COP30 Climate Change Conference, held in Belém, Brazil from 10 to 21 November 2025, the delegation visited several national pavilions to learn about the programs and initiatives presented by international and regional organizations in the areas of climate change adaptation, capacity building, and strengthening climate action.
These visits reflect the delegation’s commitment to exchanging expertise and exploring opportunities for cooperation to support national efforts in sustainability and climate action.
