Our Story

The psychological shocks on children due to war War does not bear in side it except pain , death and suffering for the lnrocent individuals . Now aday , eyes of all are closely stuck to watch the wide spread satellite screens to follow up news of the war in Iraq ; some of these news may be seen and others may be not ; what we saw is the painful pictures of the injured and deed people in addition to the ruins ; and time may be responsibte for making us forget that . what we cannot see and that may not be erased by the elapse of time is the psychological impast which will be left inside the soul of those who lived in the wartime and accompanied the fear , worry or lost a dear member of the family or lost a house shelting them to find them selves in the open air … This war was called the '' war of surprise and shock '' where the first weapon used in it is weap on of the psychological destruction which althoush it did not destroy the professional warriors yet it will certainly ruin the psychological balance of the civilians , especially the children as awhole ; and so the wars are always doen by the eldest and their victims are the youngesters . We , in the Arab world , may not give great interest the psychological care and other required means to contaminate reaction of the shocks on the children , where as , most of the psychists confirm that the most dangerous impacts of wars , and this war particularly , are what will appear tangibly later in a complete generation of Iraq's children who will grow older suffering of psycholggical problems ranging in their danger m accordance with comprehension and wareness of the parents or the family of how to help the baby to overcome and surpass the scenes occurred to him ; it is possible to overcome . such cases only if any one of the parents remembered the psychological side of the baby in those hard times . According to a UN representative , more than half a million Iraqi baby will be in need to psychological due to this psychological shock they exposed to during the war .
