Supporting Practical Learning at Tikrit University

This summer, while the classrooms of Tikrit University جامعه تكريت remained quiet, an important transformation was taking place behind the doors of the Environmental Engineering laboratories. ASB successfully equipped the laboratories with advanced scientific equipment—including a UV-Vis spectrophotometer, a multi-parameter pH, TDS & EC benchtop analyser, and a single-zone tube furnace—creating a modern learning environment ready for the new academic year.
Although the university was on its summer break, a few postgraduate students, including an international student from Sudan, witnessed the laboratory installation, offering a glimpse of the opportunities these facilities will soon provide.
As students return to campus, more than 300 undergraduate and postgraduate students from the Environmental Engineering Department and other engineering disciplines are expected to benefit from improved practical learning, research, and scientific testing.
We look forward to seeing the laboratories actively used during practical sessions and research activities in the upcoming academic year, supporting the next generation of engineers and researchers with improved learning and testing facilities.
