Mother’s Love Foundation Felicitates HSLC, HSSLC Achievers of Humtso Village

The Mother’s Love Foundation, Humtso Village organised a Felicitation Programme on Saturday , 2nd May 2026 at Humtso Village Community Hall to honour students of the village who excelled in the HSLC and HSSLC Examinations 2026 conducted by NBSE.

The programme, chaired by Ms. Nzanmongi L. Humtsoe, commenced at 10:00 AM with an invocation by Mr. Tsalamo Humtsoe, PA to DC, Wokha. Ms. Mhabeni R. Yanthan, President, HSU, delivered the welcome address.

Toppers, First Division holders, and Second Division achievers from the village were felicitated with Certificates of Excellence, Achievement, and Appreciation respectively. Ms. Khyothunglo Yanthan, who secured Top 6 in the HSLC Examination 2026, also addressed the gathering.

Mr. Renbomo Ezung, ADC Wokha in his speech congratulated the achievers and encouraged them to uphold their commitment to education and become responsible citizens.

Mrs. Thungchumi Humtsoe (Yanthan) of Mother’s Love Foundation, in her presentation, congratulated the students and reiterated the Foundation’s commitment to promoting academic excellence among the students of Humtso.

Mr. Chumthungo J Sh*tiri, HSU President (2022-2023), read the citation. Blessings were pronounced by Mr. Bikhamo Yanthan, Pastor, HBC.

Mr. Nzanthung Yanthan, District Fishery Officer, Kiphire District, delivered the vote of thanks. He expressed gratitude to the parents, teachers, and community members for their support. The programme concluded with a benediction by Ms. Zuchobeni Mozhui, Women Pastor, HBC, followed by lunch. Sanctification was pronounced by Mr. Nzanthung Humtsoe, Associate Pastor, HBC.

A large number of parents, village elders, youth, and well-wishers attended the event.

The Mother's Love Foundation, Humtso Village is a strong Foundation founded and established just this year, 2026 by sons and daughters of Mr. Tsentsothung Yanthan and Mrs. Thungchumi Humtsoe (Yanthan). They are doing a tremendous work.

Congratulations to Ms. NZANMONGI HUMTSOE, D/o Mrs. and Mr. Likhomo Humtsoe and Nchumbeni from Humtsoe Village for participating and winning Silver Medal in Archery Women Team Event (Indian Round) in the recently conducted Nagaland Olympics and Paralympic Games 2024, held from 12-17 February in Chümoukedima, Nagaland.

The Organisation is very proud of her and wish her a brighter and successful future.
