Moringa oleifera, also known as the “tree of life” or “miracle tree,” is classified as an important herbal plant due to its immense medicinal and non-medicinal benefits. Traditionally, the plant is used to cure wounds, pain, ulcers, liver disease, heart disease, cancer, and inflammation.

In collaboration with Department of Environment and Forest Department, West Karbi Anglong, Assam.

AHHS took the initiative to distribute Moringa Saplings, Mahogany and Demonstration of Red Chandan Plantation to farmers on 29-08-2025. We are grateful for the initiative taken by DFO to protect our environment and at the same time to create livelihood in the future.

Great respect to our beneficiaries as they really takes care of the Saplings post plantation thus resulting in low mortality rate

Vermi compost manure is being used during plantations to help the plant grow very well and sufficient water is given during the initial few year's.

Demonstration site for Mahogany Plantations and many saplings were distributed to our beneficiaries. They are taking measures to take care of the Saplings.

A mahogany tree, primarily from the Swietenia genus, is a tree renowned for its valuable, reddish-brown hardwood, used in furniture and instruments.

Pulveriser given to our Farmers by Agricultural Department, West Karbi Anglong in the year 2024 through subsidy schemes which is being set up in our beneficiary house by Amri Helping Hands society.

We found the machine to be very helpful and productive for grinding purposes. We sincerely thank Biswajit Rongpi sir, then DAO of Agriculture department. His sincere supports really benefited our Farmers livelihood and boost their income.
