Aashayam to Literate INDIA(Platform for Revolutionary Ideas of YOUTH) Mission:
1)To see Illiteracy Free India.
2)Stop CHILD LABOR. Aashayam is a brainchild of the B.tech students of National Institute of Technology Warangal.

Aimed at spreading the fruits of education to the grass root level and eradicating illiteracy ,Aashayam was born in January 2012 and is still talking baby steps in realizing its aim. As its first step, Team Aashayam has taken Govt High School Kazipet into its domain and tried their best to achieve the maximum pass percentage in SSC Board Exams 2012. Team Aashayam Reached about 300 students on the

way of it's project "Melody of the Future" which involves Guiding them in choosing their future options and Team Aashayam is 53 members now and we hope to grow further. Our future road map, apart from bringing more and more schools into our domain and thus more and more number of students also includes spreading awareness about higher education and trying to make rural India realize the importance and value of education. We also wish to improve the strength in Government schools and decrease the number of dropouts through various counseling and mentoring sessions and activities for students as well as their family members. The main aims of this venture can be summarized as:
1) teach students and their parents the importance of education.
2) reduce the number of dropouts from schools
3) improve pass percentage of school
4) interact with students, know their areas of interest and suggest them which course suits them
5) And finally encourage and train them so that they reach their goals
The ultimate aim is to help India achieve 100% LITERACY and to STOP CHILD LABOR

Team, it’s a quite long time I’m posting on this platform. Hope you are doing good.

Again like last year, we are planning to support Vandemataram NGO in our capacities, through Aashayam & NIT Warangal. Pl. reach us incase if you want to sponsor the students at the camp.

This is a campaign to contribute to the efforts of a child who is meritorious but poor to access quality education. Many students are held back because of reasons like lack of electricity supply in their homes, conveyance problems, timely food, health and nutrition, household work burden etc.

Didn't we feel a lot of times "I'm in the wrong career path " sitting in an uninterested class and just scrolling down our phones ...
Didn't we feel sad when our friends call us back and say they are doing everything that we are actually interested to do ...and these lines are endless. But all they mean is "Decision can change our destinies".
Think of students who study in govt schools, they don't know anything about their careers neither do they know how to turn their interests into career paths. They take MPC because they don't know drawing diagrams!!!
They take BiPC because they are weak in math !!
Some students even discontinue their students because of financial problems.
To clear all myths of children, to guide them towards their feasible career paths and to enlighten them regarding scholarships and free entrance exams, we Team Aashayam are coming up with another event *"Career interaction with govt school children at our campus"* with around 100 Govt. school children from 50 schools in *C301 and c302 of coops on March 1st, Sunday.*
We need a good number of volunteers who can take responsibility for guiding them.
It's a once in a lifetime chance *"where u can change a career, so once life ". you are not changing a person but a countries fate.*
DATE : March 1st ,Sunday
TIME : 9-12 Am
Venue : C301 and C302 Coops

TZ-IMPACT
"Necessity is the mother of invention", says a famous quote.
Aashayam as part of Technozion19, technical fest in NITW, exhibited such inventions from Govt. schools. Those projects of children are not just an innovation, but also a solution to the needs of their family and eventually the society.
Children interacted with NITW students and faculty regarding their projects, which helped them enhance their projects. sir, a social activist working for quality education for Govt. schools graced the event and motivated children to continue their spirit. His speech, as always, motivated children to continue their scientific quest.
