✈️ No more boarding pass stamps!
Starting 1 September, Indian airports will discontinue the practice of stamping boarding passes during immigration clearance for international travellers.
The move is aimed at making the immigration process faster, simpler and more convenient, while reducing reliance on physical stamping.
📱 E-boarding passes and printed boarding passes will continue to be accepted.
A small change at immigration, but one that could make international travel a little smoother. 🌍✈️

Ever wondered why Indian trucks say “HORN OK PLEASE”? 🚛🇮🇳
You’ve probably seen these three words countless times on Indian highways — usually surrounded by colourful truck art, flowers, symbols and hand-painted designs.
But what does “OK” actually mean?
One of the most popular explanations connects the phrase to the era of fuel shortages, when kerosene was reportedly used as an alternative fuel for some trucks. According to this theory, “Horn Please — On Kerosene” was used as a warning for vehicles approaching from behind. Over time, “On Kerosene” was supposedly shortened to “O.K.”, eventually giving rise to the familiar “Horn OK Please.”
But there’s an important catch: this isn't a proven historical fact. There are multiple theories about the origin of “Horn OK Please,” and there is limited documentary evidence confirming that “OK” definitely came from “On Kerosene.” Another widely accepted interpretation is simply that “Horn Please” was a traditional signal asking drivers to honk before overtaking.
Whatever its exact origin, the phrase became much more than a road message.
It became part of India's truck-art culture — where vehicles became moving canvases filled with colours, symbols, beliefs, humour and messages that travelled across the country.

So the next time you see:
HORN OK PLEASE 🚛
you're not just looking at decoration.
You're looking at a small piece of India's road culture and visual history. 🇮🇳
