s of students who could not afford private coaching are depressed and even scared of dreaming their childhood dreams of becoming a Doctor, an Engineer, an Officer, etc although they are intelligent enough to achieve their childhood dreams. Since majority cannot afford private coaching, we can conclude that majority of our students’ population are depressed or scared of dreaming their childhood dreams. A country full of depressed youth cannot be a strong country. The need of the hour therefore is to take actions that can prevent our state/ country from becoming a state/ country full of depressed youth/people. By giving free coaching with free food, free study material, free stationery, etc to economically backward children, Ascension Educational Trust wants all such students to dream big things without worrying about money at all. This will definite give a new ray of hope to the needy students and prevent them from going into depression. Ascension Educational Trust is registered at Sub-Registrar, Imphal, Manipur, under Registration Act, 1908 bearing Reg No 2351 of 2013. AET functions strictly as per the laid down rules and regulations of the Trust Deed (copy enclosed). AET has nine Board of Trustees who meet regularly to take necessary decisions that guide all the employees in achieving our aims and objectives. AET is not affiliated to any religious body or political party or community. The first batch of Free MBBS Entrance Coaching started on 12 July 2013 by employing 3 Teachers and 4 other support staffs. One of the ultimate aims of AET is to produce a Doctor, an Engineer, a Lawyer and a Civil service officer from each and every village thereby bringing ‘true development’. We hope that the Doctor, the Engineer, the Lawyer and the Civil service officer that we produce will directly or indirectly bring positive changes in their respective villages thereby bridging the urban-rural gap and bringing ‘true development’ in the country.
