When Hemlata began her journey, family planning was a new and unfamiliar topic for her - just as it was for many women in her village. Today, as a community mobiliser mentored by us, she brings women together for group sessions, creating safe spaces to learn, ask questions, and speak openly in Gandura village in Alwar 💬
Through continuous learning, close coordination with frontline workers, and dialogue, she helps address myths, ease fears about side effects of contraception, and build trust within families and with key decision-makers.
Because of her efforts, more women are attending community meetings and taking steps toward healthier futures
We equip mobilisers like Hemlata with training, practical tools, and ongoing mentorship so they can lead informed, trust-based conversations in their communities.
