A Meaningful Initiative for Women's Health & Awareness

The Government Servants Trust for Education & Research, Vadodara, proudly collaborated with Police Training School (PTS), Vadodara, Lions Clubs International District 3232 F1, and Prajapita Brahma Kumaris, Vadodara to organize a special Felicitation & Motivation Programme for women police trainees. With the support of Dr Umesh Dangarwala

As part of this social initiative, The Government Servants Trust for Education & Research donated three Automatic Sanitary Pad Disposal Machines for the benefit of women police trainees, promoting hygiene, dignity, and a healthier workplace.

A special awareness session was conducted by BK Dr. Aruna Didi from Prajapita Brahma Kumaris, who delivered an inspiring talk on Drug Awareness and administered an oath to all participants to stay away from drugs and contribute towards building a healthy, addiction-free society.
Heartfelt gratitude to all the dignitaries, partner organizations, and participants for making this programme a great success. Together, we continue to serve society through education, health, awareness, and empowerment.

The Government Servants Trust for Education & Research, Vadodara proudly organized a meaningful service initiative at Vadodara Central Jail on 23rd July 2026.

In the gracious presence of Mrs. Usha Rada Desai, IPS, Superintendent, Vadodara Central Jail, the Trust donated one Automatic Sanitary Pad Disposal Machine for the benefit of approximately 70 women prisoners.

The sanitary pad disposal machine is an important step towards promoting menstrual hygiene, dignity, cleanliness, and safe biomedical waste disposal. It helps women dispose of used sanitary pads in a hygienic and environmentally responsible manner, reducing the risk of infection, unpleasant odours, and unhygienic waste handling. Every woman deserves access to safe menstrual hygiene facilities, irrespective of where she lives.

On this occasion, CA Lion Ashok Jain, District Governor, Lions District 3232-F1, also donated 25 umbrellas, 2 bicycles, and 25 fruit trees, further strengthening the spirit of community service and environmental responsibility.

Distribution Highlights

📘 1,750 Fullscape Notebooks (196 Pages ) distributed to students.( Value 87,500)
🩷 4,000 Sanitary Pad (8 pads per packet), worth approximately ₹30,000, distributed to girl students to promote menstrual hygiene and health awareness.
🍫 1,000 Chocolates, generously donated by Mr. Bhagirath Bhatt, were also distributed among the students.

The Government Servants Trust for Education & Research (Reg. No. F/1700/2005) distributed 50 Nutrition Kits to TB-affected patients at Danteshwar Urban Health Centre, Vadodara in support of India's mission to eliminate Tuberculosis.

A Successful Cyber Crime Awareness Initiative for Senior Citizens

The Government Servants Trust for Education & Research proudly organized a Cyber Crime Awareness Program for Senior Citizens on 11th July 2026 at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Hall, Faculty of Social Work, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.

The session was delivered by Shri Mahendra K. Motwani, Dy. Superintendent of Police, Cyber Crime Department, Vadodara (Rural), whose practical guidance on online frauds, cyber safety, digital scams, and preventive measures greatly benefited the 147 senior citizens who attended the program. As a token of gratitude, a Letter of Appreciation was presented to Shri Motwani for his outstanding contribution to public awareness.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our partners and supporters who made this initiative a grand success.
