On 09th August 2026 , MCYM Vadodara felicitated our beloved parish priest, Rev. Fr. Sam Pathackal, on the occasion of the Feast of St. John Maria Vianney, Patron of Priests, in collaboration with MCYM Bhopal Ecclesiastical District.

As part of the celebration, we presented a short video highlighting the importance of the feast and the inspiring life and mission of St. John Maria Vianney, reminding us of the sacred calling of the priesthood and the importance of praying for our priests.

The celebration was a beautiful opportunity to express our gratitude for Rev. Fr. Sam's dedicated service, guidance, and loving presence in our parish community.

Praise the Lord! 🙏

On 26th July 2026, our youth were blessed to have an inspiring and enriching meeting with Shaji Uncle, our Eparchial Animator.

Through meaningful interactions, thought-provoking discussions, prayer, and fellowship, we were reminded that every young person has a unique mission in God's divine plan.

May we continue to journey together in faith, encourage one another, and shine as the light Christ calls us to be. ✨

St. Anthony's Syro-Malankara Catholic Community, Vadodara, joyfully hosted the 73rd Commemoration of Venerable Archbishop Mar Ivanios and Padayatra on 19 July 2026.

The Syro-Malankara Catholic communities of Ahmedabad, Surat, and Vapi joined together in faith and devotion to commemorate the life and legacy of Venerable Archbishop Mar Ivanios.

The celebration began with a concelebrated Holy Qurbono, with Rev. Fr. Varghese Kooterezhiyathu, Priest Secretary & North East Mission Coordinator, Diocese of Gurgaon, as the Main Celebrant. The Holy Qurbono was concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Francis Varghese, OIC, Vicar, St. Mary's Malankara Catholic Church, Surat, and Rev. Fr. Sam Pathakkal, Vicar of the Ahmedabad and Vadodara Parish.

Following the Holy Qurbono, the faithful prayerfully participated in the Mar Ivanios Padayatra towards Infant Jesus Catholic Church, Gorwa, walking together in faith, unity, and devotion.

May the intercession of Venerable Archbishop Mar Ivanios continue to strengthen us in faith, unity, and missionary zeal.
