Outdoor workers, low income families, street vendors, delivery workers, and those living in densely built urban areas often bear the greatest burden, facing health risks, lost incomes, and limited access to cooling and relief.
Heatwave Rising is a climate rap anthem that brings together the stories, struggles, and resilience of communities living through extreme heat. From workers on the streets to families trying to cope with soaring temperatures, this track shines a light on a crisis that can no longer be ignored.
A continuation of last year’s heatwave song, this new release turns up the volume on the urgent call for climate action, demanding a future where people are protected from the growing impacts of climate change.
