Furthermore, he eloquently exhorted the delegates to play a pivotal role in fostering a strong and enduring bond of cultural relations strengthening the bridge between the Northeast and the rest of the states of India and thereby contributing to the noble cause of national integration and unity.

SEIL delegates were profoundly honored and overwhelmingly delighted to be hosted for a magnificent, heart-warming and truly unforgettable dinner this evening at the gracious residence of Shri. Kenungoyi Theluo, Divisional Accounts Officer, Government of Nagaland, in the esteemed presence of Shri Eduzu Theluo, Vice President of BJP Nagaland. Delegates had a fruitful interaction with both the dignitaries and they enquired about the delegates’ stay in Nagaland and extended their heartfelt wishes for a joyful and memorable experience in the state.

The delegates, in turn, expressed their sincere appreciation to the hosts, conveying their admiration for the unparalleled warmth, kindness and hospitality extended to them by the people of Nagaland. The evening blossomed into a remarkable celebration of camaraderie and cultural connection, offering the delegates an extraordinary opportunity to unwind, share inspiring ideas and strengthen our collaborative bond.

The SEIL delegates had the profound honour of embarking on an enriching and enlightening visit to the esteemed Naga Heritage Village, Kisama. This memorable experience offered them an exceptional opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant cultural ethos and timeless traditional heritage of Nagaland.

During the visit, the delegates had the distinguished privilege of interacting with the dynamic and talented youth, elegantly adorned in their magnificent traditional attire each outfit a testament to the artistic brilliance and cultural pride of the various Naga tribes. Moreover, their comprehensive tour of the revered Morungs, each thoughtfully curated to represent the unique customs, traditions and ancestral practices of Nagaland’s diverse tribes, greatly deepened their understanding and admiration of the state’s multifaceted cultural identity and living heritage.

The SEIL delegates (Kaziranga group) arrived in Kohima and were swept into an unforgettable experience as they explored the iconic State Museum, paid heartfelt tribute at the historic War Cemetery and marveled at the breathtaking beauty of the Cathedral—each moment filled with awe, learning and lasting memories.

Throughout the visit, they were deeply immersed in the vibrant tapestry of Naga culture and traditions, making the day nothing short of extraordinary.

SEIL delegates visited the esteemed College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Jalukie, where they had the honour of meeting Prof. Dr. I.Shakuntala, the distinguished Dean of the institution.

The interaction proved to be both enriching and insightful, as the delegates engaged in a meaningful exchange with the faculty and students, gaining valuable perspectives on veterinary education and animal husbandry practices in Nagaland.

Condolence Message
The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Nagaland, expresses deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences on the passing of Shri Imkong L. Imchen, Honourable Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) and Advisor, Government of Nagaland, who left for his heavenly abode on November 11, 2025.
Shri Imchen was a visionary leader and a dedicated public servant whose life reflected an unwavering commitment to the welfare and progress of Nagaland. Throughout his tenure as a Cabinet Minister, MLA and Advisor to Govt. of Nagaland, he exhibited exemplary leadership, wisdom, and a profound sense of responsibility toward ensuring progress and stability within the state.
He firmly believed in the power of youth and education as pillars of nation-building — a vision that aligns with ABVP’s core ideals. His encouragement and support towards youth-driven initiatives have left a lasting impact.
Expressing despair, State Secretary Shri Hitolu G Swu said, “In the quiet chambers of democracy, Shri Imkong's voice echoed with integrity, his actions wove the fabric of progress, and his legacy stands as a beacon for generations to follow."
