The third clean up drive at neugal park Palampur which is situated nearby Red cafe.

We held the first two events inside the park, but while cleaning up, we noticed a steep, more like a ditch near the park's end. That bushy ditch was mostly filled with garment waste and single plastic waste thrown by people. It was heartbreaking to see how stupidly people threw waste in the bush as if it would disappear on its own. 2 hours of hard work climbing some steep inclines and entering bushes to collect waste was insufficient to clean the entire area. Therefore , We have to conduct another clean up drive to the same location to clean the remaining area. While cleaning up a thought always come up in our head , “How can we people be so irresponsible?" These throwing habits of us will only lead to our devastation in the future. .riyachaudhary ._.mehra ._

A common practise on tree plantation day is Planting trees to invest in the future. But why do we have to plant trees only on designated tree-planting days? Every day is tree-planting day, and we must work to ensure a secure future for future generations. We should not be bound by societal norms and should put ourselves and our nature ahead of our selfish desires. If you don't save trees, your environment will be depleted of oxygen, and will not be able to purify the air by absorbing hazardous pollutants; therefore let’s plant more trees 🌳 .

On February 5, 2022, a tree-planting day will be held with the support of the Krishna Simran Foundation.

A krishan simran foundation is an organisation that works for cancer sufferers' children, underprivileged children's education, women's empowerment, and other social activities.

As we all know, planting a tree is important because many trees have been cut down in recent years, and trees not only provide us with oxygen, wood, and paper but also help to absorb carbon released as a form of pollution. However, many trees are planted on specific days but no one keeps track of them after that, which is why we hope to make an effort to not only plant trees every year but also to keep track of how well they are growing.
As a result, we invite you to join us for the tree-planting celebration.

A few snapshots from the one-year anniversary (udgaam) on Christmas Day.
We really enjoyed talking to people of all ages, and the nicest part of the interaction was that they were all concerned about a healthy environment and believe in changing our system as well. But the biggest flaw in that was a lack of awareness among everyone;
P.s:- we thank each and every one of you who took part in this, and we intend to continue holding such sessions and asking people about their perspectives in the hopes of spreading awareness.

We are already unable to cope with the amount of plastic waste we generate, unless we re-think the way we manufacture, use and manage the plastics.

It is estimated that one to 5 trillion plastic (bags & wrappers) are consumed worldwide each year. Five trillion is almost 10 million plastic bags per minute. If tied together, all these plastic bags could be wrapped around the world seven times every hour-“By UN environment “
Therefore it’s better to act now or never !

🚮-“Tidyman”

This symbol is often mistaken as a “Throw it in the bin” symbol. But did you know ? What this little man actually does is remind you not to litter.

We can spot this logo on almost all of the packs or boxes. Surprisingly, this has nothing to do with recycling and solely acts as a reminder for proper disposal.
In reality, many well-known brands, such as KFC, have shifted to sustainable packaging in order to reduce plastic production and boost environmental protection.
We all know “It's not easy being green”.
Not for them
Not for us
But we can try atleast!

A serious issue in our society today is " The real struggle to reduce waste ", other than the waste people throw away carelessly. Scientists, researchers and environmentalists alike are all working towards eradicating waste of all types, but are concentrating primarily on plastic waste. However, it is difficult to reduce waste when we have already generated tremendous amounts of waste and continue to produce tons of waste. Therefore, it is better to act immediately, but the question still remains how?

Education is still an inaccessible right for millions of children around the world today. More than 72 million primary school-aged children are not enrolled, and 759 million adults are illiterate and lack the awareness needed to improve their living conditions, gender inequality, poor health, and lack of a voice. Education entails more than just learning science or grasping Newton's theory; it also entails learning morals and fundamental values about life, nature, and the universe. To effect change, one must start with the basics; thus, we must fill the void left by a lack of education.

As a necessary consequence, those who are reading this post, we humbly request that if you see any underprivileged child not attending school (govt school nearby) due to ignorance, make them go to school, tell them about the benefits of getting an education, because everyone deserves to get a basic education, and you never know, your single effort could change someone's life for the better. And believe me, such children want to go to school; they, too, have dreams, but they are simply unaware of them.

For all of us celebrating birthdays, cutting a cake may be an usual thing every year, but for a few people, it may be the most joyful thing, because they do not take things for granted like we do, and they do understand the value of not having things easily.

P.S. : This has been the most blissful birthday for me because I did something different and. I'd like to ask everyone out there to please do something for people whenever possible. To be honest, celebrating with your friends can bring a smile to your face and make you feel good, but celebrating with people while bringing a smile to others hits a different note.
