10,000 plants and counting!

FEEST has distributed 10,000 saplings — guava, lemon, and other fruit trees — to communities across Pindwara Block, Sirohi District. Each plant is a step toward greener farms, better livelihoods, and a more sustainable future for the families we work with.

From bare fields to thriving orchards — this is what community-led plantation looks like.

FEEST works across Rajasthan State to secure water, strengthen farm livelihoods, and build a more sustainable future for the families who depend on the land. But the need is growing faster than our resources.

Your support — big or small — helps us reach the next village, restore the next well, plant the next tree.

Support FEEST. Be part of the change.

The maize stood tall a month ago, fed by good early rains. Then the sky went quiet.

For this farmer in Aambli, Pindwara, every day without rain is a day of watching the crop he's poured his season into start to wilt. All that stands between him and a lost harvest is one well — and whatever little water is left in it.

"Ab kya kare?" he asks. What do we do now?

It's a question too many farming families across Pindwara are asking this season. With your support, FEEST is working to change the answer — building farm ponds, restoring wells, and securing water so a dry month doesn't mean a lost year.

Stand with farmers like him.

The seeds FEEST distributed were sown by the beneficiary family in their field, in a small patch just outside their home. Today, those same seeds have grown into ridge gourd and bottle gourd — vegetables now reaching their kitchen.

Small seeds, real change — this is what food security looks like at the household level.

From Seeds to Harvest

Some of the vegetable seeds FEEST distributed earlier this season have grown into thriving vines — climbing, flowering, and now fruiting with healthy gourds. What started as a handful of seeds in a farming family's hands is now food on their table, grown with their own care and effort.

This is what a seed distribution program looks like when it takes root.

This season, FEEST is on the ground in Gogunda and Pindwara Blocks, planting saplings that will grow into shade, cleaner air, and stronger soil for the villages we work with. One tree can absorb over 20 kg of CO2 a year — imagine what a community of them can do.

Our team and local volunteers are showing up with their hands and hearts full, one sapling at a time. Help us plant more.

Under the Water Resource Development for Ecological Balance Project, supported by Ashraya Hastha Trust, Bengaluru, FEEST has completed.

3 check dams
35 small nadis (water channels)
30 wells renovated
1,000 families given fruit saplings
1,000 ft of pipeline laid for well beneficiary farmers

This means more water, less time spent fetching it, better irrigation for farmers, and a greener future for the community. Proud to see this covered in Marudhar Aaina!

Grateful to Ashraya Hastha Trust for making this work possible, and to the Gharat Gram Panchayat community for their participation.

From sloping, unused hill land to a thriving farm

In Thandiveri, Pahad Kala, a khet talai (farm pond) transformed Tara Ram's land — and this season, it gave him a bumper maize harvest, with chana and mustard planned next. Watch him share his journey in his own words.

Grateful for partners who make this work possible on the ground — and for everyone who continues to stand with our farmers.
