SOCIETY FOR EDUCATION AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT (SERD) is a service
oriented voluntary development organization started in 1998 with the objective of helping
the indigent people especially old aged people, children and women in both rural and
urban areas.
The SERD has planned to start Ashramam at Tirupati with the prime objective to engage
in the social activities, devotional programs and public welfare in conjunction with yoga,
meditation, spiritual speeches, devotional activities, education for all, conducting free
medical camps, conducting awareness programs about health and childhood marriages
etc., The SERD society board was formally found with 11 members and initially planned
to construct magnificent temples in various places across Andhra Pradesh state.
These activities were predominantly initiated by the Vice president of Ayodhya Janaki
Ghat peetam Sri Sri B. Tirupati Balaji swamiji s/o B. Lingesh who was inspired by the
motives of his spiritual guru’s Sri Sri Jagadguru Samardhavan, Sri Baba veer
Bajrang Daasji Maharaj (Supreme court of India) and Sri Sri Sri Jagadguru
Janamejay Sharanji Maharaj. Our activities were highly energized by the ideas of
Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi and A.P.J Abdul Kalam. We as a strong
committed team, all activities were proudly pursued by a group of young professionals
and social workers adversely striving for a dream “every person has a right to live life
better”.
For this gracious purpose we are collecting funds from our close circle’s and also seeking
funds from various self-reliant corporate’s and donor’s to kick-start our first project to
build magnificent ANANDHA DHAMAM a symbolic house, the seat and dwelling of
Hindu gods with a strong spiritual atmosphere of belief and purity...
We have a Goshala at our temple, we have nearly 60 holy cows. We are also planning for further expansion. We are in short of feed/grass and water to our holy cows. Requesting everyone to extend their support.
