GOD OF ELEVENTH HOUR
( JOSHUA 6:15 ).

Six days of going around the Jericho wall;
Seventh day, seventh time, do you believe it will fall?

After twelve rounds of obedient walk,
When there is not even a sign of a crack?

Never give up; go for the thirteenth. You are yet to reach the mark.
Don't you know, to the upright, there arises light even in the dark!

In your journey, your flesh may tell you, "No more energy to spend."
No more hope, so your mind may say, "This will be the end."

Walk by faith and not by sight even though it is not the trend.
Trust His Word; you will receive HIS strength. Is HE not your friend?

YES, GOD OF ELEVENTH HOUR IS ALSO ONE OF HIS NAMES.
MAY NOT BE IN THE BIBLE, BUT IN YOUR LIFE, HE WILL PROVE THE SAME!.

DAVID AND DANIEL
(1 SAMUEL 17 & DANIEL 6)

If you are a DANIEL, GOD will send an angel to bind the lion (DANIEL 6:22). );

If you are a DAVID, GOD will lead you to kill the lion (I SAMUEL 17:36)!.

Ready to face the lion?.
But before that, discern and decide your calling!

If you are a Daniel and move like a David, you may at least pretend.
But
If you are a David and sit like a Daniel, oh, that is the end!.

FAKE FEARS.
(GENESIS 32).
Jacob came back from his father in law's place!
But his memories about his brother Esau haunted him: the fury of his brother, which caused his wanderings and separation from his homeland.

See all the fearful and fervent activities of Jacob, his scheming, and his last-minute arrangements during that return journey!

Even though his heart was gripped with fear, finally he honestly surrendered his life and prayed for God's blessing at Jabbok.

We all know that none of the presumed things of Jacob happened when he met Esau; in fact, Esau cried when he saw Jacob and didn't mention or recollect any of Jacob's past cheatings!(GENESIS 33:4).

An encounter with God at Jabbok changed everything for Jacob.

How many of us are allowing our past and its assumed consequences to control our minds?

How many of our plans and visions are limited by our fear about Esau?

How many of us are still safely dwelling in our comfort zones, instead of exploring the new avenues, by quoting our failures?

We all have our own Esaus; Failures, breakups, and heartbreaks;
But if we are not surrendering our past to our God and get His strength to face our fears, we will not be able to possess all the promised gifts of God.

Never allow your past to control your future; if possible, learn from your past mistakes.
Pray and by His strength continue your journey one day at a time.

PHISHERS OF MEN.
(1 KINGS 12:25-30).

Jeroboam spoke to people, as if he were having so much concern, "It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem" (verse 28).

In fact, his insecurity and fear of rejection forced him to find a way to stop the people from going to Jerusalem (verse 27).

This pushed him to be a hypocrite and manipulator, and consequently, he jumped into building projects so as to convince the people of his care; he subtly introduced idols and alternate forms of worship.
But all under the cover of 'welfare of the people.'

And this became a trap to the ten tribes, and they went away from the Lord and His Word!
Two more worship places, golden calves, so many employed 'priests,' festivals, and King Jeroboam's direct involvement in worship—oh, what kind of show to convince the people!

The time, energy, and investments in the form of gold poured by King Jeroboam, together with his fake words of care, made the people accept his views of divine things, and they went astray.

Even in this generation, the same kind of problems are becoming stumbling blocks to many of His people.

The new ministry with a new vision or new project that we are proposing should come from God and not from our insecurity or lack of faith.
Do you have the assurance that the spiritual work you initiated or are getting involved in is from a God-given vision?.

Or is it a 'Jeroboam'-kind of phishing attempt conceived in your heart because of your fear of the future and lack of faith?

Jesus called us to be 'fishers of men' and not 'phishers of men';
Fishers' weapons are always the Word and the Spirit, but the phishers' weapons are always lies and manipulations.

We are expected to attempt great things for God, but not with the 'Jeroboam' kind of attitude;
Check your motive and renew your mind by the Word; repent and, if necessary, stop the works started because of your insecurity.

If not, not just you, but a big and innocent crowd may go away from the Word because of your deceived heart.

Come, He will make you a fisher of men!

CHECKMATE
( 1 SAMUEL 23:25 -28 ).

Saul pursued David and his team so many times, but in the wilderness of Maon, Saul had a breakthrough with the help of the local people, the Ziphites.

David and his team were encompassed by Saul's army, and David had no other option than to surrender.

Checkmate!

Situations cornering a person and forcing him to accept defeat.

But Saul didn't understand one thing;
If the checkmate is in the horizontal direction, God's favor will open a new avenue of escape in the vertical direction to the persons who are maintaining a healthy relationship and communication in the vertical direction.

When David faced checkmate, the favor came in the form of Saul's messenger with the message to Saul about the Philistines' attack!
Saul, who was able to corner David with a checkmate, was forced to remove the checkmate!
(1 Samuel 23:27).
David overcame the checkmate with the vertical move.

Dear friends,
Sometimes even in our lives, unknown to others, we also will be getting cornered and will be wondering, 'Is it a checkmate?'

Never lose hope; if you are having a healthy vertical relationship with your Heavenly Father, in the right time He will engineer circumstances in such a way that the checkmate will disappear in a miraculous way.

Don't worry about the competing problems or persons but worry about your healthy communication in the vertical direction.

Your freedom, even in the wilderness, depends only on that!

Is your communication line intact?

KINGSOMNIA
(GENESIS 41, ESTHER 6 & DANIEL 2)

In GENESIS 41:1-8, Egyptian king Pharaoh had disturbing dreams one night, and consequently, Joseph became the prime minister of Egypt.

In ESTHER 6:1-3, Persian king Ahasuerus could not sleep one night, and consequently, Mordecai became the number two in that kingdom.

In Daniel 2:1-3, Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar had mysterious dreams one night, and consequently, Daniel got a promotion in that kingdom.

GOD disturbing the sleep of the king; KINGSOMNIA!

See the strange similarities:
Joseph, Mordecai, and Daniel did not disturb their kings to get the promotion;
Till that evening, no hint or sign of promotion or honor for them;
All three were faithful to the Heavenly Master and to their earthly masters;
All three were meticulous in their assigned duties, even though they were unjustly brought to those nations;
All three never hesitated to use their talents, whether rewarded or not;
All three were having their own unanswered questions;
All three were sharp enough to utilize the opportunities given to them;
All three readily accepted their promotions against all the odds;
All three fixed their eyes only on GOD's approval and not on the king's;
All the three used their new positions for the welfare of the people!

For these kinds of people, if necessary, GOD will disturb even the sleep of their kings; push the kings into a desperate situation that can be handled only by GOD's chosen ones!
KINGSOMNIA!

Like Joseph, no sign of recognition or deliverance?
Like Mordecai, voluntarily simplified a crisis situation but didn't get the honor?
Like Daniel, were your gifts and talents ignored in a pyramid structure?

Fear not!
In one night, GOD can change your story and position upside down!

But, like the three, trust GOD and do good;
Wherever GOD placed you, execute your assignments in an excellent way;
Never compromise your work standard because of poor recognition;
Don't worry too much about promotion and hikes; Just pray and surrender.
Honor your GOD; be faithful to your employer.

Never murmur or complain; your times are in GOD's hands!
In the right time, GOD will prove that you are of different Spirit!
Remember, you are the salt and the light GOD kept in that place!

Arise and Shine!

LABOUR SHORTAGE
MATTHEW 9:36-38.

Jesus taught His disciples to pray, but He specifically asked them to pray for one particular point: prayer for more laborers!

To be precise, these labor shortages are not in the areas of planning, planting, or watering divisions but in the harvesting division (verse 38).

When Jesus saw the needs of the crowd, His compassion forced Him to make this request earnestly.

Even after so many years, the prayer point remains valid.
Whenever and wherever you notice a need, a cry, a battle or a loss, remember that is the time to pray this prayer.

Even though we ourselves may do some amount of work, it is mandatory to pray for more laborers for harvesting.
Why so specific?

Because a person involved in harvesting should know how to optimize the available resources, how to avoid wastage, how to separate the w**d from the yield, and how to budget time to complete the work.

We may have many workers, but harvesters are different; when the yield is ready to be harvested, if the workforce is not ready, that will thwart years of hard work.

So make it a priority!
Whether you are praying for other points or not, always pray for more laborers.
Why not start your prayer now?
***********************.. but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. (PROVERBS 10:5).

WORD CUP
(DEUTERONOMY 17:18-20).

When a person becomes a king, he is expected to write for himself a copy of the Law in a book!

Think about a king's time-consuming responsibilities;
Taking care of his people, protecting his land from the enemies, strengthening the economy and security, etc., etc.

Expecting that kind of person to write his own copy of the Law?
Why not outsource that writing to someone else?

But the WORD of GOD is very clear!.
The king has to write for himself!.
Not just writing, but the copy should be with him.
And he must read it all the days of his life!

Why?
To learn to fear the LORD God;
And to observe all the words of this Law!

If this is a commandment to a king, what about us?
We boast about our heavenly position in Christ, our authority as a believer, and our privileges; we feel happy about our title 'Royal Priesthood'!
But how much do we honor the WORD?

How many of us are having the habit of writing (or typing) at least a few verses, if not the whole Bible, regularly?
How many of us are reading it every day?

Most of us are glued to the television for more than 90 minutes just to watch a game!

Is it right or wrong? ' is not the question, but when was the last time you were so glued to the WORD of GOD for more than 90 minutes at a stretch with so much attention and enthusiasm?

If your mind is having the potential to remember all the players and the statistics, what excuse you are having for not knowing even the
list of all the books in the Bible?

Your likes, shares, comments, and discussions about someone's victory are not going to give you any benefit, but the victory of our LORD is giving us all the benefits!

Sadly HIS WORD is not getting any like, comment, or share from us because we are not keeping HIS WORD with us!

Remember, what they get in any sport is just an empty cup, but what you can get is the crown of glory!

Honor the WORD; honor the SON;
Ignoring this will certainly be a sin!

LET US CELEBRATE!
(Matthew 14:1-10).
Celebrations and parties are becoming a norm of the day. People are coming up with peculiar ideas just to arrange a party; even sincere Christians waste so much of their time and money just to organize or to attend parties.

But have you noticed that the party arranged by Herod on his birthday became a trap for him and forced him to behead John the Baptist?
In particular, if we have a secret sinful story in our lives, the so-called party will expose us in an embarrassing way and will force us to go deep into sin.

In fact, Herod was not able to have a clear conscience and consequently even the miracles of Jesus created some kind of mysterious fear in Herod's mind (verses 1 & 2).

Even though our Lord Jesus himself participated in so many parties, and even the parable of the prodigal son highlights the importance of parties and celebrations in Jewish culture, almost all kinds of parties of our generation are designed in such a way to entrap us into compromising acts and behaviors.

Even Job, after every family reunion party, offered burnt offerings and prayed for his children (Job 1:5).

Anyone who is accepting every cup given to him is having more chances of getting poisoned.
You need not accept all the invitations; learn to say 'no.'

In case of unavoidable situations, remember your identity in Christ, pray deeply before attending any party, and ask God to protect your holiness.

Always remember, spending your time in a way to please our Lord is much, much superior to trying to please your friends.

HOLLOW FOLLOW-UP
(Proverbs 12:27).
The lazy do not roast that which he took in hunting!

Is it not strange?
When speaking about the nature of a lazy person, this verse subtly explains the double life as equivalent to laziness.

We all consider a lazy person as the person who is either lethargic or unwilling to work; but this lazy person is not like that.
See, he goes hunting, is able to get a prize catch, and brings the prize catch to his place.
Difficult assignment planned and started; got the initial success!

To the outside world, he is certainly a hard and smart worker and a role model; it is better to take him as a mentor!

But this is just outside the house; once the prize catch enters the house, the story changes; the prize catch remains untouched; uncooked; the effort and efficiency poured into the project, when the world watched, is not continued when no one watches!
Strange, ignoring his own work, his own prize catch, his effort, and invested time!

To the outside world, an active hunter; but inside the house, a lazy slumber!
Not just the prize catch but even his own resources are going to waste because of his laziness!

Is this not happening in our fellowships?
When the world watches, crusades, camp meetings, evangelical campaigns, and what not?
So much planning, effort, resources, and time to win some for Christ, but after getting the catch, inside the house, no one cares; there is no proper follow-up, no personal communication with that seeker, no focused support group, and not even a smile to that seeker, the prize catch!

Hollow follow up!

Proverbs declares that as laziness; even if the outside world acknowledges you as an active and efficient worker, the intention to bring that seeker to maturity is not there means, you are also just like that lazy person only!

Be diligent; understand the true value of that prize catch.
Pray, plan, and persevere to bring that person to spiritual and scriptural maturity; then only you will not be considered a member of the lazy club!
*********************... I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you....
