Medical Aid Assessment Camp for Children with Disabilities 🩵

Ummeed Foundation, in collaboration with Rise Bionics, conducted a 3-day Medical Aid Assessment Camp from 18th to 20th August 2026 at Ummeed Foundation, Mumbra, Thane.

Around 70 children with disabilities from Mumbra were assessed to identify their medical aid and assistive device requirements. 🤝✨

Our 2 students and 1 teacher successfully participated in the AMBA Training Orientation Program (Learn & Earn Program) in Bangalore. After completing 3 days of intensive training, they are now Certified Trainers and will further train other students at our school.

A step forward towards skill development, empowerment, and creating more opportunities for our students. 💜

Ummeed Foundation, in collaboration with ALIMCO, successfully organized the Distribution of Aids and Assistive Devices for 200 Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) under the CSR Initiative of Ordnance Factory Ambarnath, a Unit of Yantra India Ltd.

The event was held on 28th July 2026 in Mumbra, Thane, with the aim of empowering persons with disabilities through improved mobility, accessibility, and independence.
