Paryavaran Dakshata Mandal conducted an “Anti-Bird Feeding Campaign” on 17th January 2026 at Masunda Lake (Talao Pali). During the campaign, volunteers from Maza Talao actively engaged with citizens, creating awareness about the harmful effects of unnecessary bird feeding and pampering. The volunteers explained how artificial feeding disrupts natural ecosystems, affects bird health, and contributes to water pollution in the lake. Citizens were urged to adopt responsible and eco-friendly practices to help preserve the lake’s biodiversity and maintain ecological balance.

*मा. जिल्हाधिकारी ठाणे यांच्या हस्ते पर्यावरण दक्षता मंडळाच्या 'आपलं पर्यावरण' जंगल विशेष दिनदर्शिकेचे प्रकाशन*

पर्यावरण दक्षता मंडळ ही संस्था गेली २६ वर्षे पर्यावरण शिक्षण, संवर्धन व जनजागृती या क्षेत्रांत ठाणे व जवळपासच्या परिसरांत कार्यरत आहे. संस्थेच्या 'आपलं पर्यावरण' - पर्यावरण शिक्षण घरोघरी या मासिकाअंतर्गत गेली ४ वर्षे पर्यावरणीय दिनदर्शिका प्रकाशित केली जाते. २०२६ची दिनदर्शिका भारताच्या अप्रतिम, वैविध्यपूर्ण आणि मंत्रमुग्ध करणाऱ्या वनसंपत्तीविषयी आहे.
आपलं पर्यावरण दिनदर्शिका २०२६चे प्रकाशन गुरुवार दिनांक १ जानेवारी २०२६ रोजी जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालय, ठाणे येथे मा. जिल्हाधिकारी व जिल्हादंडाधिकारी डॉ. श्रीकृष्ण पांचाळ यांच्या हस्ते संपन्न झाले. याप्रसंगी आपलं पर्यावरण मासिकाचे संपादक प्रा. विद्याधर वालावलकर व कार्यकारी संपादक सुरभि ठोसर हे उपस्थित होते. पर्यावरण दक्षता मंडळाच्या देवराई, निसर्गायण मामणोली, निसर्गायण टिटवाळा तसेच ग्रीन शॉपी या प्रकल्पांविषयी यावेळी चर्चा झाली.
ही दिनदर्शिका केवळ तारखांची मांडणी नाही, ती आपल्या देशातील अविश्वसनीय जंगलांचा, तेथील जैवविविधतेचा आणि पृथ्वीच्या भविष्यात त्यांच्या निर्णायक भूमिकेचा अनुभव देणारी एक 'जीवंत सफर' आहे.
प्रत्येक महिन्यावर एक नवा प्रदेश, एक नवा रंग, एक नवी कथा आहे. निसर्गाची भाषा समजून घेण्यासाठी, जंगलांशी नाते बांधण्यासाठी आणि पर्यावरण जागरूकतेची नवी दृष्टी देण्यासाठी ही दिनदर्शिका तुमची साथीदार ठरेल. तुम्ही एक प्रत घरी ठेवा, तुमच्या प्रिय व्यक्तींना भेट द्या किंवा शाळा-महाविद्यालयांना दान करून विद्यार्थ्यांच्या मनात पर्यावरणाबद्दलची संवेदना रुजवा, असे आवाहन पर्यावरण दक्षता मंडळाने केले आहे.

Paryavaran Dakshata Mandal organized "My Lake Competitions" under it's 'Maza Talao/My Lake Campaign' on 22nd December for schools from Kalwa, Mumbra and Diva region at PadmavatiVenkateshHighSchoo, Kharegaon. The participation was good, students presented their work through the competitions and in way became a part of awareness we try to do. With their willing participation and efforts towards understanding the environmental problem in the current times can truly be a hope for our future.

Paryavaran Dakshata Mandal under it's Maza Talao/My Lake initiative organised and conducted the My Lake Competitions for schools in Thane on 19th of December 2025 where the students actively participated in the “My Lake Competition” with great enthusiasm.Various competitions were organized to promote water conservation and sustainability.
Teachers, parents, and environmental experts supported the initiative.
The program aimed to educate young minds about protecting natural resources.
It reflects how collective efforts can inspire responsibility toward the environment.
