Sports play a very important role in the life of youth, as it is the foundation for physical fitness, discipline, and a healthy lifestyle. Keeping this in mind, the youths of our village Khet approached the Khet Welfare Society with a request for support to encourage regular sports activities.

Honouring our commitment and keeping our promise to the youths, the Khet Welfare Society has extended its support by providing two footballs and one safety net of 50 metres. This small initiative is aimed at motivating our young generation to stay active, fit, and engaged in positive activities.

We strongly believe that encouraging sports among youths is an investment in a healthier and stronger future for our village. The Khet Welfare Society will always stand with the youths in their constructive and developmental efforts.

Today, we, the members of the Khet Welfare Society, were deeply honoured and privileged to call on the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Shri Pema Khandu, and his esteemed spouse, Smt. Tsering Dema, at his residence in Lembardung.

With utmost respect and humility, we submitted a comprehensive memorandum placing before the Hon’ble Chief Minister various developmental needs and priority concerns of Khet, along with proposals aimed at the overall welfare and progress of our people. We also respectfully informed him about the forthcoming two-day Losar festival programme to be organised at Khet.

The interaction was highly meaningful and encouraging. The Hon’ble Chief Minister Sir and Madam graciously accorded us their valuable time, listened attentively to our submissions, and shared their guidance with great compassion and clarity. Their warmth, humility, and commitment towards inclusive development left a deep impression on us.

We return from this meeting with renewed faith, confidence, and determination, sincerely hopeful that under the visionary leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, the aspirations of the people of Khet will receive due attention and positive support in the days ahead.

Today, our President Lobsang Tsering attended the Thanksgiving party organised at Kharung by the newly elected unopposed Gram Chairperson, Mr. Tsering Wangchuk. The event witnessed a warm and vibrant gathering of Kharung villagers, who expressed their gratitude and support for the new leadership.

President Lobsang Tsering was graciously welcomed by the host and the community. During the interaction, he engaged in meaningful discussions with the villagers on various developmental concerns and highlighted the spirit of unity between the people of Kharung and the Mukto–Bongkhar region. The villagers also shared their aspirations and appreciated the continued support from the Khet Welfare Society.

Overall, the programme was marked by harmony, positive exchanges, and a shared commitment to strengthening cooperation among neighbouring villages.

Today we KWS members attended the Thanksgiving party hosted by our Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu and our newly unopposed ZPM of Mukto–Bongkhar Block, Shri Pema Tsering, at Khet Tomlang.

On behalf of our Khet Welfare Society, we felicitated our new ZPM and also Achi Sangey Phuntsok, our senior youth leader, along with his team. It was a warm and meaningful moment as they visited our village Khet, and we expressed our appreciation for their support and presence.

Overall, it was a wonderful gathering filled with gratitude and good wishes for the future.
