🎭 Project Jagrukta Abhiyan | Kaladhara Theatre & Art Group, Ambala Cantt

On 27 August 2026, Kaladhara Theatre & Art Group conducted a Nukkad Natak (Street Play) on Plastic Awareness across the Army Area, Ambala Cantt.

Through the power of street theatre, we delivered a simple yet important message:

🗑️ “Don’t throw plastic anywhere. Use the Drop Bin.”

The performance focused on developing a responsible outlook towards plastic waste, encouraging people to make environmentally conscious choices and take responsibility for keeping our surroundings clean.

We had the opportunity to present this awareness initiative before Captains, JCOs and senior-ranking Army officers, making the message of responsible waste disposal even more meaningful.

Because change doesn’t always begin with a big movement—
sometimes, it begins with putting one piece of plastic in the right bin. 🌍❤️

🎭 Theatre is more than entertainment — it is a voice, an expression, and a powerful tool for change.

On 17 August 2026, artists of Kaladhara Theatre & Art Group, Ambala Cantt presented a Nukkad Natak on “Importance of Theatre in Life” at the Pharmacy Block of Maharishi Markandeshwar Deemed to be University (MMDU).

The performance marked the successful culmination of a 15-day Theatre Workshop, directed by Yash Sharma and performed by Jyoti, Japsimar, Jyotsna, Kanchan, Garima Arora, Kriti Sharma, Vanshika and Namis.

Through powerful performances, the artists highlighted how theatre builds confidence, creativity, communication, self-expression and social awareness, reminding us that theatre is not just something we watch — it is something that helps us understand life. ❤️🎭

A heartfelt appreciation to everyone who participated, supported and encouraged the artists throughout the workshop.

🎭 Creating awareness through theatre, inspiring change through action.

On 14 July, Kaladhara Group conducted a POCSO Act awareness play at DAV Sr. Sec. School, Ambala City, followed by a plantation drive. 🌱

A meaningful day focused on child safety, awareness, and giving back to our community.
