We need to create more schools like https://nashobalearninggroup.org/ and https://www.necc.org/ across India and other nations. Lot can be learnt from these very advanced programs and it will pave way to expand access to education to children with special needs more across communities.

Needless to say, there is lot of room for improvement on inclusion, access for disabled individuals. We can all make a difference by providing some "mindshare".

So, if you hear this for the first time from a doctor or therapist, we strongly recommended to ask more questions and learn more. If your child is involved in this diagnosis, don't panic. Wish you all Happy Children's day. Right to basic education and to live with dignity is every child's fundamental right. We have a big need to get those rights for economically disadvantaged children and families in both rural and urban India as we celebrate 75 years of independence. A Great society has fundamental obligation to take care of most vulnerable children among us.

We kicked off our 2022-23 activities with visits to 4 Families in Sirsi and Siddapur Taluk. We aim to support 75+ families this year as well, if not more. Please be in touch if you like to be involved for volunteering or would like to help a family in need.

We urgently need local volunteers who will advocate for these families through out the year.
