कचऱ्यातून नव्या बदलाची दिशा...
𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵

सिन्नर तालुक्यात युवा मित्र आणि Aadhar Housing Finance Ltd. (AHFL) यांच्या सहकार्याने राबविण्यात येणाऱ्या Integrated Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Program अंतर्गत एक अर्थपूर्ण आणि पर्यावरणपूरक उपक्रम यशस्वीरित्या राबविण्यात आला.

फक्त एका वर्षात:
▪️ 174.927 किलो सॅनिटरी पॅड कचऱ्याचे संकलन
▪️ 372.589 किलो CO₂ उत्सर्जन कमी करण्यास मदत
▪️ 3,482 लिटर लँडफिल जागेची बचत
▪️ 36 शाळांमधील 8,018 मुलींपर्यंत उपक्रमाची पोहोच

या उपक्रमातील सर्वात विशेष बाब म्हणजे — सॅनिटरी पॅड कचऱ्याचे “Rebirth Products” मध्ये रूपांतर.

यामध्ये डायरी, कॅलेंडर, ग्रीन पॉट्स आणि इतर उपयुक्त वस्तू तयार करण्यात आल्या, ज्यातून पर्यावरण संवर्धन आणि Circular Economy ला प्रोत्साहन मिळत आहे.

१६ शाळांमध्ये वितरण कार्यक्रम आयोजित करण्यात आले, ज्यामध्ये 4,017 किशोरवयीन मुली, शिक्षक आणि मुख्याध्यापक सहभागी झाले. या कार्यक्रमांद्वारे मासिक पाळी स्वच्छतेबरोबरच पुनर्वापर आणि पर्यावरणपूरक जीवनशैलीबद्दलही जागरूकता निर्माण करण्यात आली.

या डायरींचे मुलींनी विशेष कौतुक केले कारण त्या त्यांच्या दैनंदिन अभ्यासासाठी उपयुक्त ठरत आहेत.

या कार्यक्रमामध्ये युवा मित्रच्या कार्यकारी संचालिका मनिषा पोटे यांनी उपस्थित राहून मुलींना मार्गदर्शन केले. शाळांच्या मुख्याध्यापकांनी या उपक्रमाचे कौतुक करताना सांगितले की, मासिक पाळी आरोग्य आणि पर्यावरण संवर्धन यांची सांगड घालणारा हा उपक्रम अत्यंत प्रेरणादायी आहे.

युवा मित्र आणि AHFL केवळ जागरूकता निर्माण करत नाहीत, तर आरोग्यदायी आणि हरित भविष्यासाठी शाश्वत उपाय निर्माण करत आहेत.

१४ एप्रिल रोजी डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या जयंतीनिमित्त युवा मित्रच्या प्रांगणात उत्साहपूर्ण वातावरणात जयंती साजरी करण्यात आली. 🌼

या प्रसंगी उपस्थितांनी त्यांच्या विचारांना अभिवादन करत सामाजिक न्याय, समानता आणि शिक्षणाच्या मूल्यांची आठवण करून दिली. त्यांच्या प्रेरणादायी कार्यातून समाज परिवर्तनासाठी कार्य करण्याचा संकल्प करण्यात आला.

यावेळी महात्मा फुले यांच्या सामाजिक कार्यांची, शिक्षण क्षेत्रातील अमूल्य योगदानाची आणि समतेसाठी केलेल्या संघर्षाची उजळणी करण्यात आली. त्यांच्या प्रेरणादायी विचारांना मान देत उपस्थितांनी समाज परिवर्तनासाठी सतत कार्यरत राहण्याचा संकल्प केला. ✨

महिला मेळावा 2026

दि. २५ मार्च २०२६ रोजी युवा मित्र, बजाज फायनान्स लि. व रंभा फिलांथ्रोपी फाउंडेशन यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने युवा मित्रच्या मित्रांगण कॅम्पस येथे “महिला उपजीविका विकास कार्यक्रम – महिला मेळावा २०२६” मोठ्या उत्साहात आयोजित करण्यात आला.

नाशिक व अहिल्यानगर जिल्ह्यातील २,००० हून अधिक महिलांनी या मेळाव्यात सहभाग घेतला. ज्यात त्यांच्या जिद्दीचा, आत्मविश्वासाचा आणि प्रगतीच्या ध्यासाचा प्रत्यय आला.

या कार्यक्रमासाठी मा. डॉ. अनुपम दिक्षित (प्रमुख शास्त्रज्ञ, कृषी अर्थशास्त्र, CIRG, मथुरा), श्रीमती कल्पनाताई दुधाळ (प्रख्यात कवयित्री, दौंड, पुणे), डॉ. मिनल पिंगळे व डॉ. निर्मला पवार (स्त्री-रोग तज्ञ, सिन्नर) यांची प्रमुख उपस्थिती लाभली. तसेच नाशिक व अहिल्यानगर येथील शेळीपालन करणाऱ्या लाभार्थी महिला, पशुसखी व कृषी मित्र यांचाही सक्रिय सहभाग होता.

कार्यक्रमात महिलांच्या आरोग्य, पोषण आणि उपजीविका संधींबाबत मार्गदर्शन करण्यात आले. शेळीपालन विषयक तज्ज्ञ मार्गदर्शनासोबतच शेळी आधारित उत्पादनांचे प्रक्षेपण करण्यात आले. तसेच Best Goat, Best Farm, Best Kid आणि Best Buck या स्पर्धांमधील विजेत्यांचा सन्मान करण्यात आला.

महिलांनी तयार केलेल्या उत्पादनांचे प्रदर्शन, सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम आणि प्रेरणादायी अनुभवकथन यांनी कार्यक्रम अधिक समृद्ध झाला. अनेक महिलांनी शेळीपालनातून झालेल्या सकारात्मक बदलांचे अनुभव शेअर केले.

या मेळाव्याने एक गोष्ट स्पष्ट केली ती म्हणजे महिलांची शक्ती, त्यांचा आत्मविश्वास आणि पुढे जाण्याची जिद्द हीच खऱ्या परिवर्तनाची ताकद आहे.

हा केवळ एक कार्यक्रम नाही, तर अधिक सक्षम, आत्मनिर्भर आणि समावेशक भारताकडे वाटचाल करणारी चळवळ आहे.

We are proud to share that the Pavak Chulha Project Team from Yuva Mitra recently participated in the National Conclave on Nutrition & Climate Goals 2026.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀:
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗔: Early Childhood Nutrition (0–6 Years)
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗕: Environmental Exposure & Climate-Linked Health Vulnerability

Our team presented under Theme B, which examines how environmental factors such as indoor air pollution, poor housing conditions, sanitation challenges, and heat stress affect child health. The discussions also highlighted how climate change intensifies these risks and explored solutions, tools, and policy pathways for building healthier and more resilient communities.

Through this platform, we showcased the Pavak Smokeless Chulha initiative.

Implemented by 𝗬𝘂𝘃𝗮 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗮 with the support of 𝗚𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗖𝗦𝗜𝗥-𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗥𝗜, and 𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗡 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗝 𝗦𝗘𝗩𝗔 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗜, the 𝗣𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗸 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗹𝗵𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 is currently being executed in 80 villages of Nandurbar district.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗸 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗹𝗵𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀
The Pavak Smokeless Chulha is designed to:
- Reduce indoor smoke and air pollution
- Improve fuel efficiency and lower firewood consumption
- Create a safer cooking environment for rural households
- Protect the health of women and children who are most exposed to household smoke

The project also focuses on community-led change by forming Environmental Care Groups and conducting hands-on training sessions that encourage the adoption of clean and sustainable cooking practices.

More than a cookstove, Pavak Chulha represents a step towards healthier families, protected forests, and a more sustainable future.
