A cadet of 38 Mah Bn Ncc, Solapur, Maharashtra Dte. was marching to the Battalion for its weekly friday parade. In between villages, he stopped for breakfast at a hotel where an elderly woman collapsed on the spot due to heart attack. NCC cadets realized the seriousness of the incident and gave CPR to the woman and rushed her to a nearby hospital. He did this while undergoing Natural Disaster and Emergency Situation Reaction practical training at the NCC camp.
