The FVSA was organized by some group of voluntary organizations who support other small organizations to work with the community.

But what they are lacking is hand holding support and technical skills. Thus, FVSA continuing it's work to support them.

The member organizations of FVSA continuing their efforts towards support to the flood affected peoples. They have been contributing emergency needs like food, water, shelter etc. with the support of different agencies. The organizations are Uttar Betna Samaj Sanskarak Bahini, Goreswar, Manav Kalyan, Darrang, Peace Unity and Progresive Society, Golaghat, Sanatan Unnayan Sangstha, Silchar, Aman Foundation, Borpeta, North Star Club Jonai, ESPT Chapar etc. Proshik Das Ngo Faye D'Souza

Looking for 15 interns
Applications are invited for the interns ( Duration- 3 months) of 40% female in Pathikrit, Rajabari( work from home) . The person should have own laptop/smart phone have good skills in reporting or documentation.

অসমৰ বিভিন্ন জিলাৰ পিছপৰা অঞ্চলসমূহত সমাজৰ বিভিন্ন সমস্যাৰ ওপৰত নিৰন্তৰ কাম কৰি অহা ২২খন জিলাৰ ২২টা সামাজিক সংস্থাক লৈ গঠন হৈছিল " ফ'ৰাম ফ'ৰ ভলণ্টিয়াৰ ছেক্টৰ অৱ আছাম" ৰ। সংস্থাৰ মূল উদ্দেশ্যই হ'ল সততাৰে সমাজৰ সেৱা আগবঢ়াই থকা সংস্থাবিলাকৰ আভ্যন্তৰীণ বিভিন্ন সমস্যাসমূহৰ সমাধানৰ প্ৰতি গুৰুত্ত্ব ৰাখি সংস্থাবিলাক যাতে ভালদৰে আগবাঢ়ি যাব পাৰে তাৰ প্ৰতি গুৰুত্ব আৰোপ কৰা।যোৱা ৬ আৰু ৭ ফেব্ৰুৱাৰীত সদস্য সংস্থা সমূহৰ প্ৰতিনিধিৰ উপস্থিতিত শোণিতপুৰ জিলাৰ বালিপাৰাত বছেৰেকীয়া আলোচনাচক্ৰখন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। অনাগত সময়ত কি ধৰণে সংস্থাসমূহ আগবাঢ়ি যাব লাগিব, কেনেধৰণেৰে সমাজৰ ভিন্ন সমস্যাসমূহৰ লগত যুঁজ দিব লাগিব এই বিভিন্ন বিষয়ত গুৰুত্বপূৰ্ণ আলোচনা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

The Forum for Voluntary Sector of Assam (FVSA) was formed in the year 2013 to strengthening voluntary organizations working at grassroots. Organizations from 22 districts of Assam came forward to form the forum who have continually been working for the deprived sections of people in their respective districts. The prime objective of the Forum is to support each other in solving the internal issues so that they are able to serve the society better. It has been a long journey since then.
The 8th annual general meeting of the Forum was held on 6th and 7th March 2021 at Balipara. The founding member of the organizations participated in the meeting discussed how the organizations will go forward in coming time and how they will address with different social issues etc. The annual meeting ended with cultural program.
