An inspiring day for the girls at our Aajeevika Centre. A special guest, Ms. Aayushi Chaudhary, UPSC 2024-Rank 290, a proud resident of our district was welcomed at our centre. Aayushi’s journey started in a small village school in Kandhla, then to a Noida school, onwards to Miranda House college in DU to pursue Maths Honours and then to IIT Delhi for a Masters in Maths. This was her 4th attempt at the UPSC, including marriage in between. She persisted and didn’t lose her focus. Hard work was a constant and finally it paid off. The girls listened in rapt attention and also had lots of questions.

Hopefully there were lessons learnt! It is always important and helpful to have an example to look up to, someone who started from the same place you did and managed to achieve her goals. Kudos to all the girls who are working hard everyday to become independent, specially those who show up at our Aajeevika Centre every day 🌺🌺
