Yesterday,Shardiya Navratri festival was celebrated at D.C .Public Senior Secondary School situated on Mathura Road. The festival was inaugurated by school manager Neeraj Verma, Mohan Verma and principal B.k. Sharma by lighting lamps on the idol of Maa Saraswati. On this festival, tableaux of small girls in the form of Maa Devi were taken out and the manager and principal worshipped the form of the Devi and the girls were also given a feast. The principal told how Maa Saraswati organizes and operates the universe. School teacher Priya Parashar told the students about Dussehra, the victory of truth over untruth. On this occasion, Rashmi Priya, Gaurav, Neetu, Deepak, Sunil, Deepti, Prachi etc were also present.
