Position Title: Executive Officer
Location: Bihar / Jharkhand (Regional Office)
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: Up to ₹3.60 Lakhs per annum (CTC)
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and result-oriented Executive Officer to oversee and drive our operations, advocacy, and member engagement initiatives across the states of Bihar and Jharkhand. This role is ideal for a professional who understands the intersection of industrial growth, regional policy, and sustainable development.
The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between industry stakeholders, government bodies, and sustainability advocates to promote green initiatives and business growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Regional Operations: Manage daily operations, administrative tasks, and strategic initiatives for the Bihar and Jharkhand chapters.
Stakeholder Liaison: Actively engage with government officials, industry leaders, MSMEs, and corporate bodies to facilitate dialogues and partnerships.
Event & Committee Management: Organize seminars, webinars, buyer-seller meets, and committee meetings focused on regional economic development and environmental compliance.
Membership Growth: Identify and onboard new industrial members, ensuring high retention through excellent service and value addition.
Policy Advocacy: Assist in drafting representations, policy recommendations, and white papers to be submitted to state governments regarding industrial and environmental issues.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Agriculture, Sustainable Development, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Preferred Skills & Selection Criteria:
Preference will be given to candidates who meet the following criteria:
Domain Expertise: A strong background, academic or professional, in Environment, Water Management, Sustainability, Carbon Markets, Renewable Energy, or Agriculture.
Industry Association Background: Prior experience working with a Chamber of Commerce (e.g., FICCI, CII, ASSOCHAM, PHDCCI) or a prominent regional industrial association is highly desirable.
Regional Knowledge: Deep understanding of the socio-economic and industrial landscape of Bihar and Jharkhand.
Communication: Fluency in English and Hindi with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
